Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a glass for a vehicle window of a vehicle such as an automobile or a train, and an apparatus for manufacturing the same, and particularly to a technique for forming a film on the surface of the glass substrate by exposing the glass substrate to an excited gas.
However, as described in Patent Document 1, in a car window glass in which a coating is formed on the glass surface by a coating method, a drying process must be provided after the surface treatment agent is applied to the glass surface in the manufacturing process. It is difficult to improve the productivity of glass, and since the surface treatment agent is liquid, it is difficult to make the film thickness of the surface treatment agent to be applied constant on the glass surface. Unevenness occurs.
The objective of this invention is providing the glass for vehicle windows which can be manufactured without passing through a drying process, and there is no coating unevenness, and its manufacturing apparatus.

Details of the present invention will be described below.
The glass for a car window of the present invention comprises an excited discharge gas excited by exciting a discharge gas introduced into the discharge space under atmospheric pressure or a pressure near atmospheric pressure, and a thin film forming gas containing a raw material. A thin film is formed on the glass substrate by mixing the mixture into a secondary excitation gas and exposing the secondary excitation gas to the glass substrate. In other words, after mixing the excited excitation discharge gas and the thin film forming gas, the thin film forming gas can be indirectly excited sufficiently by exposing it to the glass substrate as a secondary excitation gas, thereby improving the film formation efficiency. It is a great feature that it can be improved.
In the present invention, “mixing” is performed by introducing the excitation discharge gas and the thin film forming gas into the mixing space outside the discharge space so as to cross each other. The greater the crossing angle between the excitation discharge gas and the thin film forming gas, the easier the mixing. In addition, in the mixing space, in order to promote mixing of the excitation discharge gas and the thin film forming gas, a stirring blade, a porous partition plate, a rectifying plate, a turbulent grid that combines round bars and prisms in a grid pattern, etc. are installed. Or may be heated or decompressed. Moreover, you may use the mixing method currently disclosed by Unexamined-Japanese-Patent No. 7-227528, 6-277480, and 6-21732.

It is possible to obtain a thin film having a low water repellency and oil repellency.
In the present invention, when the organic fluorine compound, the organic metal compound having an organic group, or the organic metal compound having an organic group having a fluorine atom is a gas at normal temperature and normal pressure, it can be used as it is as a component of the mixed gas. However, if the organofluorine compound, the organometallic compound having an organic group, or the organometallic compound having an organic group having a fluorine atom is liquid or solid at normal temperature and normal pressure, it is vaporized by a method such as heating or decompression. In the present invention, the “discharge space” is a space which is sandwiched between electrode pairs arranged to face each other at a predetermined distance and causes discharge by introducing a discharge gas between the electrode pairs and applying a voltage. . “Outside the discharge space” refers to a space that is not the discharge space.
The form of the discharge space is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, a slit formed by opposing plate electrode pairs or a space formed in a circumferential shape between two cylindrical electrodes.

As shown in FIG. 2, a thin film forming apparatus 1 as a vehicle window glass manufacturing apparatus mainly includes two

The
Next, the operation of the thin film forming apparatus 1 and the method for forming the
First, the discharge gas supply means introduces the discharge gas G from the discharge
Thereafter, a high frequency voltage is applied between the
At substantially the same time, the thin film forming gas supply means introduces the thin film forming gas M from the thin film forming
In the mixing space region B, the thin film forming gas M and the excitation discharge gas G ′ are mixed while being in contact with each other, and the secondary excitation gas N is generated in the mixing space region B. The present inventor brings the thin film forming gas M into contact with the excited discharge gas G ′ excited by directly exposing the discharge gas G to the discharge space region A and the thin film forming gas M in the mixed space region B outside the discharge space. Receives energy from the excited discharge gas G ′ and presumes that it is indirectly excited. In this embodiment, this mixed gas is called secondary excitation gas N. Although the principle is not clear, the present inventors have found that the
Then, the discharge gas G and the thin film forming gas M are further introduced from the discharge gas supply means and the thin film forming gas supply means toward the mixed space region B, and the secondary excitation gas N is newly introduced into the discharge gas G and It is pressed by the thin film forming gas M and discharged from the
In this state, the
In the thin film forming apparatus 1 described above, the excited discharge gas G ′, which is excited by introducing the discharge gas G into the discharge space region A under atmospheric pressure or near atmospheric pressure, and the thin film forming gas M are discharged from the discharge space. The
Further, the
In the present embodiment, the

[Measurement of surface resistivity]
After conditioning each sample 1-5 and comparative sample 1 for 24 hours in an environment of 23 ° C. and 55% RH, the surface of each sample 1-5 and comparative sample 1 was measured by a terraohm meter model VE30 manufactured by Kawaguchi Electric Co., Ltd. The specific resistance value was measured. In the measurement, two electrodes (the part that contacts each sample 1 to 5 and comparative sample 1 is 1 cm × 5 cm) are arranged at an interval of 1 cm, and each sample 1 to 5 and comparative sample 1 are brought into contact with the electrode. The value was measured, and the value obtained by multiplying the measured value by 5 was defined as the surface specific resistance value (Ω / □) of each of Samples 1 to 5 and Comparative Sample 1. As a result, each sample 1 to 5 had a surface specific resistance value of 1 × 10 12 Ω / □ or less, and Comparative Sample 1 had a surface specific resistance value higher than 1 × 10 12 Ω / □.
As shown in Table 1, excellent or good measurement results can be obtained from each of the samples 1 to 5 and good measurement results can be obtained from the comparative sample 1 in any evaluation of sliding resistance, abrasion resistance, and UV resistance. Was not obtained. From this measurement result, it was found that each of the samples 1 to 5 of the present invention was superior in water drop sliding property, abrasion resistance, and UV resistance as compared with the comparative sample 1 as a comparative example. Therefore, when the excited discharge gas and the thin film forming gas are mixed so as to cross each other, the excited discharge gas and the thin film forming gas are mixed efficiently, and the film formation efficiency of the thin film is improved. And it turned out that it is very useful to use the glass base material which formed the thin film by such a method as glass for vehicle windows.
