<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a digest of a program dealing with various requests from audiences of broadcasting can not be provided. <P>SOLUTION: A program meta-information application recording and reproducing apparatus comprises a program recording part 12 for recording a program, an additional program information selecting part 18 which utilizes a program ID intrinsic to the program to designate the program, an additional program information register part 17 which inputs a criterion for specifying a part to reproduce in the designated program, a program ID management part 72 for searching position data of the part corresponding to the inputted criterion on the basis of a predetermined correspondence between position data related to the position of the part corresponding to the criterion in the program and the criterion, an additional program information management part 73, and a program reproducing part 14 for reproducing the part of the recorded program on the basis of the searched position data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

本発明は、番組のダイジェストを作成するための再生複製システム、再生複製装置、演算装置、入力装置、再生複製方法、プログラム、および記録媒体に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、放送システムのデジタル化に伴い、放送の多チャンネル化が進んでいる。

放送の視聴者は、多チャンネル化によって番組数が膨大になってきているため、一つの番組の中の一部分だけを試聴したいという要求を持つようになってきた。

そこで、一つの番組の中の一部分だけを抽出して番組のダイジェストを自動的に作成するための番組ダイジェスト自動作成装置が、発明されている（たとえば、特許文献１参照）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、このような従来の番組ダイジェスト自動作成装置は、あらかじめ放送局側で行われた設定にしたがって番組のダイジェストを作成する。

このため、上述の一つの番組の中の一部分として視聴率が高いシーンを含む部分が設定されている場合には、ある出演者が出演している部分だけを番組のダイジェストとして試聴したいという視聴者の要求は、満足されない。

このように、放送の視聴者の多様な要求に応じた番組のダイジェストを提供することができないという課題があった。

本発明は、上記従来のこのような課題を考慮し、放送の視聴者の多様な要求により応じた番組のダイジェストを提供することができる再生複製システム、再生複製装置、演算装置、入力装置、再生複製方法、プログラム、および記録媒体を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
第１の本発明は、番組を記録する記録手段と、
前記番組に固有な番組ＩＤを利用して、前記番組を指定する指定手段と、
前記指定された番組の再生および／または複製されるべき部分を特定するための基準を入力する入力手段と、
（ａ）前記基準に対応する前記部分の前記番組における位置に関する位置データと前記基準とのあらかじめ定められた対応関係を格納する格納手段、および（ｂ）前記格納された対応関係に基づいて、前記入力された基準に対応する前記部分の位置データを検索する検索手段を有する演算手段と、
前記検索された位置データに基づいて、前記記録された番組の前記部分を再生および／または複製する再生複製手段とを備えた再生複製システムである。
