Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vibration damping oil damper mainly used for structures (buildings) such as buildings and bridges.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The oil damper exerts a passive (passive) control force against disturbances such as earthquakes and winds, so it is also called a passive damper, and is hardly affected by temperature and speed, and its damping characteristics are stable. It is widely used due to its small size despite its strong vibration damping force and little performance degradation due to aging.

Conventionally, a vibration damping oil damper having such advantages encloses oil in a first cylinder chamber and a second cylinder chamber in a cylinder partitioned by a piston, and supplies oil from the first cylinder chamber to the second cylinder chamber. A throttle such as a damping valve or an orifice is provided in the middle of the flow path to release the oil, and a check valve is also provided. A throttle is provided and a check valve is provided, and when external force is input through the piston rod, a reaction force is obtained by the throttle resistance generated when oil escapes from one cylinder chamber to the other cylinder chamber, damping vibration. I have. As disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 3306399 (Patent Document 1), such a vibration damping oil damper has a built-in damping valve and the like in the piston and reduces the number of valves to simplify the structure, thereby improving reliability. Highly compact ones have also been proposed.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, since the function of the conventional oil damper for vibration damping generates a resistance in the direction in which the piston rod is moving, the resistance (damping force) acts even when the structure is going to return to the initial state. Will be. Therefore, if the piston moves to one side from the origin (initial position) in the first run-out, a resistance force acts even when returning to the opposite side, and as a result, it is difficult to return to the piston home position, resulting in deformation. And the residual deformation easily occurs.
It is considered that such inconvenience can be prevented by eliminating the resistance (damping force) when the structure is about to return to the initial state.
[0006]
In order to realize this, a semi-active damper may be adopted. That is, by providing an electromagnetic valve in the relief flow path and controlling the cross section of the orifice, it is possible to make the throttle resistance variable.
[0007]
However, since the semi-active damper has an electromagnetic valve attached to the damper and is computer-controlled, the manufacturing cost and maintenance cost increase, and there is a problem that a computer installation place is required in addition to the damper.
[0008]
Accordingly, the present invention has been proposed in view of the above circumstances, and has as its object a small and simple structure, which releases the resistance (damping force) when the structure is about to return to the initial state, and provides a piston. To return to the origin position (initial position).
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made to achieve the above object, and the invention according to
A piston movably fitted in the cylinder and dividing the cylinder into a first cylinder chamber and a second cylinder chamber;
A piston rod connected to the piston and extending out of the cylinder;
A damping flow path communicating the first cylinder chamber and the second cylinder chamber regardless of the position of the piston;
A throttle mechanism provided in the damping flow path, which serves as a resistance of passing oil,
A first relief flow path having one end opened at the piston origin position and the other end communicating with the first cylinder chamber;
A second relief flow path having one end opened at the piston home position and the other end communicating with the second cylinder chamber;
A check valve provided in each relief flow passage, which allows passage of the oil flowing from the opening at the piston home position, but prevents passage in the opposite direction;
With
When an external force acts on the piston rod and the piston moves away from the piston home position, the oil in the cylinder chamber passes through the damping flow path to apply a damping force by the throttle mechanism, and the piston approaches the piston home position. The oil damper for damping is characterized in that the oil is released from the opening on the piston origin position side to release the damping force when the oil moves to the position indicated by the arrow.
[0010]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, each of the relief passages is formed on a pair of shafts extending along the axial direction of the cylinder, and the shafts penetrate the piston.
[0011]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided the vibration damping oil damper according to the first or second aspect, wherein the throttle mechanism is a damping valve or an orifice.
[0012]

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a throttling mechanism that attenuates oil by passing oil in opposite directions to each of the damping passages of the piston communicating the first cylinder chamber and the second cylinder chamber. In addition to the first relief flow path, the first relief flow path communicates the piston origin position with the first cylinder chamber, and the second relief flow path communicates the piston origin position with the second cylinder chamber. Each relief channel is provided with a check valve that allows the oil that has flowed in from the opening at the piston origin position side, but prevents the oil from flowing in the opposite direction. When the piston is moved, the oil in the cylinder chamber passes through the damping flow path, and a damping force is applied by the throttle mechanism to move the piston closer to the piston home position. When dynamic can release the damping force through oil in relief channel from the opening of the piston home position side. Therefore, it is possible to release the resistance (damping force) when the structure (building) is going to return to the initial state with a simple structure, and to return the piston to the origin (initial position). There is no one-sided flow of deformation and no residual deformation.
[0044]
If the relief channels are formed in the shafts extended along the axial direction of the cylinder, and the shafts are penetrated by the pistons, the size of the oil damper can be reduced.
