Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an engine controller and a construction machine equipped with the same, and more particularly to an engine controller with improved reliability against vibration and temperature, and a construction machine equipped with the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, in construction machines, in order to improve operability, the engine speed is controlled in accordance with a predetermined operation corresponding to a driving operation mode, and according to a workload in order to reduce fuel consumption. There is an increasing need to control engine speed. For this purpose, an engine controller is provided for controlling the fuel injection amount of the engine and the injection timing based on the fuel injection amount signal instructed by the controller. The mounting position of the engine controller is mounted on the engine itself, as described in Patent Document 1, for example. FIG. 5 is a partial cross-sectional top view of a main part of a hydraulic shovel, which is an applied machine, described in Patent Document 1. In FIG. 5, an

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and has as its object to provide a construction machine equipped with an engine controller capable of improving reliability of engine vibration and ambient temperature at low cost.
[0008]
Means for Solving the Problems, Functions and Effects
In order to achieve the above object, a first invention is characterized in that, in a construction machine equipped with an engine controller, the engine controller is mounted on an exterior frame on a vehicle body side.
[0009]
According to the first invention, since the engine controller is mounted on the exterior frame on the vehicle body side, the engine controller receives the engine vibration via the engine mount shock absorber and the vehicle body side frame without directly receiving the engine vibration. The vibration acceleration applied to the engine controller is reduced. As a result, the countermeasures against vibration applied to the engine controller need only have an allowable vibration acceleration level (vibration resistance performance) lower than when an engine controller is mounted on a conventional engine. The manufacturing cost of the construction machine to be mounted can be reduced.
[0010]
According to a second aspect, based on the first aspect, the engine controller is mounted on a cooling air upstream side of a radiator for cooling an engine.
[0011]
According to the second aspect, since the engine controller is mounted on the upstream side of the cooling air of the radiator, the engine controller is directly cooled by the outside air, and the cooling efficiency can be increased. As a result, a sufficient margin of the ambient temperature with respect to the operation allowable temperature range of the engine controller can be sufficiently ensured, and the reliability of operation can be significantly increased. Further, since a cooling device or the like dedicated to the engine controller is not required, the number of parts is reduced, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
[0012]
A third invention is based on the first invention, wherein the engine controller is mounted near an inspection / maintenance cover provided on an exterior panel.
[0013]
According to the third invention, since the engine controller is mounted near the inspection / maintenance cover, the maintenance work (repair, repair, etc.) of the engine controller is very easy.
