(Ready)
(Warning)
(Resp time)
(Error)
(Wait)
これにより、SFEED=H、SCOMP=H、SERROR =Lの組み合わせとなるため、“エラー状態”と判定される。
これにより、SFEED=H、SCOMP=L、SERROR =Hの組み合わせとなり、“レディー状態”と判定される。
【0075】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electronic component mounter that acquires feeder management information using an existing signal line that connects between a feeder that supplies an electronic component to the electronic component mounter and a control unit of the electronic component mounter. The present invention relates to a feeder management system.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A feeder (electronic component supply device) that supplies electronic components to an electronic component mounting machine is set so as to be replaceable with the electronic component mounting machine, and when there are no more electronic components to be supplied or when the type of electronic components is changed, etc. The feeder set in the electronic component mounting machine is replaced. Since this feeder replacement is performed manually by the operator, the operator may set the wrong feeder on the electronic component mounter due to the operator's inadvertent mistakes (mistake, misunderstanding, etc.). An incorrect electronic component may be supplied to an electronic component mounting machine to produce a defective product.
[0003]
Therefore, as shown in Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-49500) and Patent Document 2 (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-135888), an identification information display unit that represents identification information is provided on the feeder, and this identification information display unit is provided. Is read by a camera provided on the electronic component mounting machine side, so that it is possible to automatically determine whether or not an appropriate feeder is set in the electronic component mounting machine.

[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the configurations of
[0006]
In general, the control unit of the electronic component mounting machine and the feeder are connected by two signal lines, and one of the signal lines is a signal for transmitting a component request signal from the control unit of the electronic component mounting machine to the feeder. The other signal line is a signal line for transmitting a component supply completion signal from the feeder to the control unit of the electronic component mounting machine. With this configuration, the control unit of the electronic component mounting machine can only obtain information on the completion of component supply from the feeder side.
[0007]
If the control unit of the electronic component mounting machine can know more about the status of the feeder, the operator is informed to supply the electronic component before the component runs out, and the electronic component is mounted to supply the electronic component. It is possible to shorten the machine stop time, to correctly determine the occurrence of component breakage, or to check whether the feeder is operating normally. It is possible to notify the operator in advance, and the effect of reducing the time loss and improving the operating rate of the electronic component mounting machine can be expected.
[0008]
Therefore, it is conceivable to increase the number of signal lines in order to make it possible to know more about the status of the feeder. However, increasing the number of signal lines increases the cost range and demands for lower costs. Can't meet.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in consideration of these circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a feeder management system for an electronic component mounting machine capable of realizing a function for identifying new management information of a feeder at a low cost. It is to provide.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a feeder management system for an electronic component mounting machine according to
[0011]
In this case, as in
[0012]
In this case, as described in
[0013]
Alternatively, as in
[0014]
When identifying the type of feeder, the period shorter than the period from when the component request signal is output to the feeder from the control unit of the electronic component mounter until the component supply operation of the feeder is completed, as in
[0015]
In other words, when the feeder receives a component request signal transmitted from the control unit of the electronic component mounting machine and starts the component supply operation, the component supply operation speed of the feeder is completed. Takes time. Paying attention to this point, the invention according to claim 5 uses a period shorter than the component supply operation period of the feeder as a feeder type identification period for identifying the type of feeder, and supplies the component within the feeder type identification period. By sending a feeder type identification signal for identifying the type of the feeder from the feeder to the control unit of the electronic component mounting machine using the signal line for the completion signal, the control unit of the electronic component mounting machine can identify the type of the feeder. It is what I did. In this way, it is possible to automatically identify the type of feeder using the existing signal line using the component supply operation period of the feeder.
[0016]
In this case, as in claim 6, a feeder type identification signal having a pulse number corresponding to the type of the feeder is transmitted from the feeder to the control unit of the electronic component mounting machine within the feeder type identification period. The control unit may identify the feeder type based on the number of pulses of the feeder type identification signal received within the feeder type identification period. In this way, the feeder type can be automatically identified with simple logic. In addition, the type of feeder may be identified based on the pulse width (or pulse transmission interval) of the feeder type identification signal. Of course, the type of feeder is combined with the number of pulses and the pulse width (or pulse transmission interval). May be identified.
[0017]
Further, when identifying the status of the feeder, as in claim 7, in the control unit of the electronic component mounting machine, four or more types of statuses of the feeder are determined depending on the active / negative combination of the signal levels of the three signal lines. It is better to identify. In this way, it is possible to automatically identify four or more types of feeders with simple logic.
[0018]
Specifically, as in claim 8, the signal level of the signal line for the component request signal = negative, the signal level of the signal line for the component supply completion signal = active, and the signal level of the signal line for the error signal = When an active combination is reached, a warning operation is performed by predicting the arrival of an error state, the signal level of the signal line for the component request signal is negative, and the signal level of the signal line for the component supply completion signal is negative In addition, when the combination of the signal level of the error signal line = active is determined, an error state may be determined. In this way, the process in which the feeder reaches an error state can be identified in two stages, and it is possible to quickly cope with a part breakage or the like.
