Soc.,145,1964−1968(1998)、Chem.Lett.,379−380(1999)、J.Phys.

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a nanoparticle composite used for a catalyst, an electronic device material, and the like, a core-shell structure having the core as a core, a structure including the components, and a method of preparing the same and a structure prepared from the same. About.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Porous materials are widely used as catalysts, adsorbents, surfactants and the like. A porous material is a substance having pores of a fixed shape. A porous material having a pore diameter of 2 nm or less is called a microporous body, and a porous material having a pore diameter of 2 to 50 nm is mesoporous. It is called a porous body. As the microporous body, for example, zeolite is well known. Zeolite is a crystal in which metal atoms such as Si or Al are bonded via oxygen and has pores of a certain shape. Using these pores, for example, a contact that decomposes heavy oil into gasoline is used. It is used as a cracking catalyst and as a molecular sieve adsorbent that allows only linear alkanes to pass without passing through branched alkanes.
[0003]
Furthermore, in recent years, porous bodies having larger voids, that is, mesoporous bodies, have been proposed to improve the catalytic function and realize new functions, and the preparation of mesoporous bodies composed of metal oxides such as silica has been actively studied. Have been. Until now, mesoporous materials represented by mesoporous silica have been used to form metal oxide thin films around them using surfactant micelles or self-organizing organic molecular aggregates such as inorganic or organic nanoparticles as templates. Later, it is prepared by removing the template. The pore structure of the mesoporous body can be controlled by controlling the size of the material used as the template and the arrangement structure thereof, and the mesoporous body in which the pores are randomly dispersed, the pores are regularly arranged. Many mesoporous materials have been realized, such as mesoporous materials, or mesoporous materials in which spherical pores are three-dimensionally arranged.
The mesoporous material is a new type of crystal that has no regularity at the atomic level but has a regular arrangement of mesoscale cavities. It is expected to be used as industrial materials such as materials that function to adsorb and separate) and catalysts and surfactants. In addition, it is expected to be used in various fields, for example, by introducing aggregates of various atoms and molecules into voids to enable use as new electronic device materials.

As a method for generating particles in the nano space inside a mesoporous body, a method of introducing a compound as a raw material into the mesoporous body and reacting to generate a metal or a semiconductor in pores has been generally used. Can be However, in the nanoparticle-mesoporous body composite produced by this method, the size of the metal or semiconductor nanoparticles inside is determined by the pore size inside the porous body (for example, see Non-Patent

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the conventional nanoparticle-mesoporous body composite, there is a problem that it is difficult to control the size of the nanoparticle to be generated, and it is also extremely difficult to control the void between the mesoporous body and the nanoparticle. There is also a problem that it is extremely difficult to generate a plurality of nanoparticles having different compositions in a meso-mesoporous body by controlling their sizes.
[0009]
In addition, in the conventional core-shell structure, it is possible to create a void inside the hollow particle, but once the structure is completed, the size of the incorporated nanoparticle and the distance between the shell and the particle of the hollow particle are reduced. There is a problem that it is difficult to control the void size.
[0010]
As described above, the conventional core-shell structure has a structure including one nanoparticle inside the shell, and a structure including a plurality of nanoparticles having different properties inside the core is not known.
[0011]
In view of the above problems, the present invention provides a core-shell structure having a core of a nanoparticle composite in which a plurality of nanoparticles having different properties are directly bonded, a structure including the core-shell structure, and prepared from the same. It is an object to provide a method for preparing a structure.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A core-shell structure having a nanoparticle composite as a core according to the present invention includes a core composed of a nanoparticle composite in which two or more different nanoparticles are directly bonded, and a shell covering the core. And
The nanoparticle composite may be a core formed by joining different first nanoparticles and second nanoparticles. Preferably, the first nanoparticles are composed of a solid that dissolves in light, and the solid is any of a metal, a metal oxide, a semiconductor, and a polymer having a light absorption edge, and the second nanoparticles are composed of a solid, This solid is one of a metal, a metal oxide, a semiconductor, and a polymer. The shell is preferably made of a material that does not dissolve in light.
Preferably, the first nanoparticles are metal chalcogenide semiconductor fine particles, the second nanoparticles are metal, and the shell is a film having a silicon-oxygen bond as a skeleton. Further, the metal chalcogenide semiconductor particles are preferably CdS (cadmium sulfide), and the film having a silicon-oxygen bond as a skeleton is made of SiO. x (Silicon oxide, 0 <x).
The core-shell structure having the nanoparticle composite as a core can be realized as a core composed of two or more nanoparticles having different properties, for example, a nanoparticle composite having a semiconductor-metal junction. Not only is it useful as a functional element, but it is also promising as a catalyst material for performing a catalytic reaction.
[0013]
Further, a structure comprising a core-shell structure having a nanoparticle composite as a core according to the present invention is a structure comprising a core-shell structure having a nanoparticle composite as a core. . Since this structure has a core-shell structure with a nanoparticle composite as a core, in addition to the effects of the core-shell structure, based on the shape of the structure, a wider range of optical sensors, Catalytic reactions, material synthesis, and adsorption of specific substances become possible.
[0014]
In addition, the method for preparing a core-shell structure having a nanoparticle composite as a core according to the present invention includes forming first nanoparticles composed of a photo-dissolving solid by controlling the particle size, Chemically modified with a chemical substance containing an element that binds to the oxide and a group containing a component element of an oxide that does not dissolve in the photo, introduces a group into the surface of the first nanoparticle, and hydrolyzes this group to form a coating made of an oxide To form a core-shell structure having the first nanoparticle as a core and the coating as a shell, and irradiating the core-shell structure with light in a photo-dissolution solution at a controlled wavelength. Forming a controlled void inside the structure, a metal, a metal oxide, a semiconductor, a metal, a metal oxide, a semiconductor, in a shell of a core-shell structure having a controlled void therein in a solid deposition solution including a second solid nanoparticle. Alternatively, second nanoparticles composed of a polymer are precipitated, And forming a first nanoparticle core-shell structure nano-particle composite was cores to second solid nanoparticle composite comprising nanoparticles and core shell coatings interpreted.
According to this method, in the core-shell structure having the nanoparticle composite as the core, the size of each nanoparticle forming the core can be accurately adjusted.
[0015]
The above structure is characterized in that the second solid nanoparticles are deposited by irradiating light into the shell of the core-shell structure having voids controlled by the solid deposition solution. This solution for solid deposition is a solution for metal deposition, and precipitates a metal or metal oxide. In addition, the metal deposition solution is a mixed solution containing a metal element constituting the second solid nanoparticles and containing an electron or hole trapping agent.
According to this method, the second solid nanoparticle is irradiated with light into the shell of the core-shell structure having a controlled void inside, and the second solid nanoparticle is precipitated while controlling its size with high accuracy. Can be prepared as a core-shell structure.
[0016]
Further, it is preferable that after hydrolysis, a chemical substance having a hydrophilic group or a hydrophobic group is added and further chemically modified so as to be soluble in water or soluble in an organic solvent. According to this method, a core-shell structure having a nanoparticle composite as a core, which is soluble in water or soluble in an organic solvent, can be prepared.
[0017]
In the above configuration, preferably, the first nanoparticles made of a solid that dissolves in light are CdS (cadmium sulfide), the element that binds to the particle surface is S (sulfur), and the constituent element of the oxide that does not dissolve is Si (silicon). , The group contains Si (CH 3 O) 3 Si (trimethoxysilyl) group, chemical substance is (CH 3 O) 3 Si (CH 2 ) 3 SH (3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane), the film formed by hydrolysis is SiO x (Silicon oxide, 0 <x), the second solid nanoparticles are made of metal, metal oxide, semiconductor, or polymer. According to this method, a core composed of CdS nanoparticles having a controlled particle size and
[0018]
Preferably, in the above-described configuration, the first nanoparticles made of a photodissolving solid include CdS, an element that binds to the particle surface is an S element, a component element of an oxide that is not photodissolved is Si, and the group includes Si ( CH 3 O) 3 Si group, the chemical substance is (CH 3 O) 3 Si (CH 2 ) 3 SH, a chemical substance having a hydrophilic group is an alkylsilane having a carboxy group, a quaternary ammonium group, an amino group, a sulfonic acid group, a hydroxyl group, and the like; a chemical substance having a hydrophobic group is n-octadecyltrimethoxysilane; Solid nanoparticles are made of metal, metal oxide, semiconductor, or polymer. According to this method, a core of a nanoparticle composite including a CdS nanoparticle having a controlled particle size and a second solid nanoparticle having a controlled particle size made of a metal, a metal oxide, a semiconductor, or a polymer. , SiO covering core x A shell of the film is formed. A desired functional group is formed on the shell and can be dissolved in a desired solvent.
[0019]
It is preferable that the first nanoparticles have a desired particle size by photo-dissolving with light having an absorption edge wavelength corresponding to the desired particle size. As a void for the second nanoparticle deposition, a void previously formed inside the core-shell structure by light irradiation with a controlled wavelength is used. According to this method, the photodissolving nanoparticles serving as the core in the core-shell structure absorb light and are photodissolved, so that the particle size is reduced. As the particle size of the photo-dissolved nanoparticles decreases, the absorption edge wavelength of the photo-dissolved nano-particle core moves to a shorter wavelength side due to the quantum size effect, and the absorption edge wavelength of the photo-dissolved nano-particle core becomes smaller than the irradiation light wavelength When the length becomes shorter, the core does not dissolve. Thus, by selecting the wavelength of the irradiation light, the size of the nanoparticles to be photo-dissolved can be set to a desired size. As a result, the space for the precipitation of the second nanoparticles can be made to have a desired size. As a result, the pore size can be controlled to a desired size, so that a core-shell structure having a core of a nanoparticle composite in which the size of each nanoparticle is freely controlled can be accurately prepared.
[0020]
Further, a method for preparing a structure having a core-shell structure having the nanoparticle composite as a core according to the present invention as a component is a core comprising a plurality of nanoparticle composites prepared by any of the above methods as a core. -It can be formed by dispersing the shell structure in a solvent and gradually evaporating the solvent to self-organize.
A two-dimensional core-shell structure with a core of nanoparticle composites, with a core-shell structure with multiple nanoparticle composites prepared by any of the above methods developed at the gas-liquid interface The membrane may be compressed and organized. In addition, a core-shell structure having a plurality of nanoparticle complexes prepared as cores by any of the above methods can be arranged using DNA as a template. According to the above method, a structure having a core / shell structure having a nanoparticle composite as a core can be prepared.
[0021]
Further, the second method for preparing a core-shell structure having a nanoparticle as a core according to the present invention comprises photo-dissolving the core-shell structure having a nanoparticle composite prepared by any one of the above methods as a core. The first nanoparticles are removed by etching to form a controlled gap between the second nanoparticles and the shell, thereby obtaining a core-shell structure having the second nanoparticles as a core. And The second nanoparticles are preferably nanoparticles that do not dissolve in light. The above-mentioned second nanoparticles, preferably, nanoparticles that dissolve in the light, and the first nanoparticles may be removed by photo-etching under the condition that the second nanoparticles are not photo-etched. According to this method, a core-shell structure having a nanoparticle composite as a core, and a core-shell structure having the nanoparticle composite as a core obtained by a method for preparing a structure comprising the same as a component From the body or the like, a core-shell structure having the second nanoparticles as a core can be obtained with high dimensional accuracy.
[0022]
Further, the method for preparing the nanoparticle composite of the present invention includes the step of removing the shell of the core-shell structure having the core of the nanoparticle composite prepared by any of the above methods, and A nanoparticle composite including the second nanoparticle is obtained. According to this method, a core-shell structure having a nanoparticle composite as a core, a core-shell structure having a nanoparticle composite as a core obtained by a method for preparing a structure having the same as a component, etc. Therefore, the nanoparticle composite can be further accurately prepared.
[0023]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

The method of controlling the gap used in the present invention is based on the size-selective photoetching method already proposed by the present inventors (literature: J. Electrochem. Soc., 145, 1964-1968 (1998), Chem. Lett., 379-380 (1999) and J. Phys. Chem. B, 215, 6838-6845 (2001)).
This size-selective photoetching method utilizes the fact that the energy gap increases as the particle size of semiconductor nanoparticles decreases due to the quantum size effect, and that metal chalcogenide semiconductors are oxidized and dissolved by light irradiation under dissolved oxygen. By irradiating semiconductor nanoparticles having a wide particle size distribution with monochromatic light having a wavelength shorter than the wavelength at the absorption edge, only semiconductor nanoparticles having a large particle size are selectively photoexcited and dissolved, and a smaller semiconductor This is a method of adjusting the particle size to nanoparticles.
