Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a plate supply apparatus for a printing plate that is fed from a cassette in which the printing plate is stored and is conveyed and supplied to a supply target in the next process.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Technology that uses a printing plate (eg, PS plate, thermal plate, photopolymer plate, etc.) provided with a recording layer (photosensitive layer) on a support, and records an image directly on the photosensitive layer of the printing plate with a laser beam or the like Has been developed (printing plate exposure apparatus). With such a technique, it is possible to quickly record an image on a printing plate.
[0003]
Here, in the printing plate automatic exposure apparatus using the technology of image recording on the printing plate, a large number of printing plates are stacked and accommodated in the cassette, but the image forming surface of the printing plate is easily damaged. In order to protect the surface, a protective sheet (interleaf) is superimposed on the image forming surface of the printing plate, and the image forming surface faces downward (in a so-called back-up state) and is sequentially laminated in layers. And stored in a cassette. When the printing plate is fed into a sheet, one end of the uppermost printing plate among a plurality of printing plates stacked in a cassette is adsorbed by a suction cup and separated from the other, and the image is taken out one by one. A sheet is conveyed (conveyed and supplied) to the next process (for example, an exposure process) while being inverted so that the formation surface faces upward (Patent Document 1).
[0004]
However, as described above, when the printing plate is adsorbed by the suction cup and is taken out one by one and reversed, it is necessary to reverse the printing plate from one end side of the printing plate adsorbed by the suction cup and to replace the front and back sides of the printing plate. Therefore, a large space for the inversion (especially, a space extending over a horizontal plane) is indispensable, and there is a drawback that the apparatus becomes large as a whole and the layout of each component is limited.
[0005]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-247489
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In consideration of the above-mentioned fact, the present invention can reduce the necessary space for reversal when taking out the printing plate accommodated in the cassette and reversing the image forming surface so that the image forming surface faces upward, An object of the present invention is to obtain a printing plate supply apparatus that can reduce the size of the printer and increase the degree of freedom of layout.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A plate supply device for a printing plate according to a first aspect of the present invention is a plate supply device for a printing plate which is fed from a cassette in which the printing plate is stored and conveyed to a supply target in a next process. A drawer means for holding the leading end of the uppermost printing plate in the cassette and pulling it out from the cassette, and is provided adjacent to the portion to be supplied in the next process, and is rotatable in both forward and reverse directions, It is possible to selectively move upside down 180 degrees between a receiving state for receiving the printing plate drawn out from the cassette by the drawing means and a sending state for sending the printing plate to the supply portion of the next process. And receiving the leading end portion of the printing plate drawn out by the drawing means in the receiving state, and then temporarily transporting it as it is to hold the trailing end portion of the printing plate instead of the leading end portion of the printing plate. And the mark And a pair of nip rollers that are brought into the feeding state by reversing the plate up and down 180 degrees while being held in the rear end portion, and are fed from the rear end portion to the supplied portion in the next process. Yes.
[0008]
In addition, it can implement by setting it as the structure which adsorb | sucks a printing plate with an adsorption | suction board etc. as a drawing-out means.
[0009]
In the printing plate feeding apparatus according to claim 1, when the printing plates stacked and accommodated in the cassette are transported and supplied to the supply portion of the next process, the drawing means is operated to The leading edge of the uppermost printing plate is held and pulled out from the cassette. At this time, the nip roller pair is in a receiving state for receiving the printing plate, and when the nip roller pair is operated, the leading end portion of the printing plate drawn out by the drawing means is received, and the printing plate is temporarily left as it is. Instead of the leading edge of the printing plate, the trailing edge of the printing plate is held.
[0010]
Next, the pair of nip rollers is turned upside down by 180 degrees while maintaining the rear end portion holding state of the printing plate, so that the printing plate is in a state of being reversed (in this state, the printing plate is substantially turned upside down). Furthermore, when the nip roller pair is operated again in the opposite direction, the printing plate is supplied from the rear end portion to the supply portion of the next process.
[0011]
In this way, in the printing plate feeding apparatus according to claim 1, after the leading edge of the printing plate is once received by the nip roller pair, the trailing edge of the printing plate is held instead of the leading edge, and then the nip roller. Since the pair is turned upside down by 180 degrees with the rear end portion held, the printing plate is supplied to the supply target in the next process while being turned upside down. , The space over the horizontal plane) can be reduced, and the apparatus can be downsized and the flexibility of layout can be increased.
