Description

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an accelerator pedal device applied to a vehicle or the like employing a drive-by-wire system, and more particularly to an accelerator pedal device having a mechanism for generating a hysteresis in a pedaling force required for operation of an accelerator pedal.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a conventional accelerator pedal device applied to a drive-by-wire system, a mechanism for generating hysteresis in a pedaling force (pedal load) required for operation of an accelerator pedal is adopted in consideration of operability of a driver and the like.
For example, as a hysteresis generating mechanism in a conventional accelerator pedal device, a liner as a cylindrical sliding surface is provided in a region supported by the pivot of the accelerator pedal, and at the same time the liner is brought into contact with the liner, the contact pressure is changed according to the pedaling force. It is known that a flexible hysteresis lever that is elastically deformed by a changing biasing force of a return spring is provided, and a hysteresis load is generated by a frictional force between a slidable portion of the hysteresis lever and a liner (for example, see Patent Reference 1).
[0003]
Further, as a hysteresis generating mechanism in another accelerator pedal device, an inclined surface is provided on one end side of the accelerator pedal, and a friction member having a conical surface biased by a spring so as to contact the inclined surface is provided. It is known that a friction member generates a hysteresis load by a frictional force generated between the friction member and an inner surface of a case when an accelerator pedal is depressed (for example, see Patent Document 2).
[0004]
As a hysteresis generating mechanism in another accelerator pedal device, a bearing pin is provided by a support pin (support shaft) as a pivot of the accelerator pedal and a support shell arranged so as to cover the outer peripheral surface of the support pin. A U-shaped leaf spring is formed around the bearing shell and increases the urging force as the accelerator pedal is depressed, and the bearing is offset by the spring force generated by the leaf spring. A device that generates a hysteresis load by a generated frictional force is known (for example, see Patent Document 3).
[0005]
Further, as a hysteresis generating mechanism in another accelerator pedal device, a rotor that rotates integrally with a pedal arm is provided, a bearing plate that contacts a side surface of the rotor is provided, and a hysteresis is generated by a frictional force generated between the rotor and the bearing plate. A device that generates a load is known (for example, see Patent Document 4).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described conventional hysteresis generating mechanism, a change over time of a flexible member that generates a frictional force, a change in behavior caused by directly pressing the frictional member by one end of an accelerator pedal, and a change in a bearing portion Since there are many uncertain factors such as a change in a contact portion at the time of shifting and a change in a contact portion between the rotor and the bearing plate, it is difficult to generate a stable frictional force. Further, there is a problem that it is difficult to set the hysteresis load structurally, and it is difficult to return the accelerator pedal when the frictional force at the sliding interface increases. Further, in the above-mentioned conventional accelerator pedal device, a space is required for arranging a return spring for returning the pedal arm, which results in an increase in size of the device.
[0008]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to simplify the structure and reduce the size while easily improving the pedaling force characteristic (hysteresis characteristic) optimal for operating the accelerator pedal. It is an object of the present invention to provide an accelerator pedal device that can be set or changed as appropriate, and that can suppress changes over time and ensure stable operability.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An accelerator pedal device according to the present invention includes a pedal arm for applying a pedaling force, a support shaft for swingably supporting the pedal arm, a return spring for urging the pedal arm to return to a rest position, and a movement of the pedal arm. And a hysteresis generating mechanism for generating a hysteresis load on the pedaling force, wherein the hysteresis generating mechanism can rotate around the support shaft while integrally holding the pedal arm, and A rotating member having an arc-shaped sliding surface coaxially at the center, a friction member having a swing center closer to the support shaft than the sliding surface and arranged to contact the sliding surface, and a pedal arm. And a biasing spring that is configured to increase the biasing force with stepping on and applies a biasing force so as to press the friction member against the sliding surface.
[0010]
According to this configuration, when the pedal arm is depressed, the biasing spring presses the friction member against the sliding surface of the rotating member to generate a frictional force. This frictional force generates a hysteresis load as a sliding load.
That is, in the stepping-down direction, the frictional force acts as a boosting load, so the hysteresis load increases, and the pedaling force required for stepping on the pedal arm increases. As the load decreases, the return force required to return the pedal arm approaches the urging force exerted by the return spring.
As a result, when stepping on, a desired hysteresis load is obtained, and optimal pedaling force characteristics are obtained. When returning, a smooth return operation is performed by a return force close to the biasing force of the return spring, resulting in stable operability. Is secured.
[0011]
In the above configuration, it is possible to adopt a configuration in which the friction member is formed so as to contact the sliding surface in an arc shape, and the biasing spring is formed to exert a biasing force on the free end side of the friction member.
According to this configuration, since the friction member contacts the sliding surface of the rotating member in an arc shape, the behavior is stable, a desired friction force is obtained, and a stable and reproducible hysteresis load is set. Can be.
[0012]
In the above configuration, the biasing spring is a torsion spring disposed around the support shaft, and one end of the torsion spring is locked to the free end side of the friction member, and the other end is locked to a part of the rotating member. Has been adopted.
According to this configuration, the device can be centralized and reduced in size by using a torsion spring in which the biasing spring is disposed around the support shaft, and the direction of one end of the torsion spring locked to the friction member By appropriately selecting the contact angle and the contact angle, the magnitude of the generated hysteresis load can be easily set or changed to a desired value.
[0013]
In the above configuration, it is possible to adopt a configuration in which the return spring is a torsion spring disposed around the support shaft.
According to this configuration, since the return spring is a torsion spring arranged around the support shaft, the apparatus can be centralized and downsized.
[0014]
In the above configuration, a configuration can be adopted in which the return spring also serves as a biasing spring.
According to this configuration, since the return action of the pedal arm and the action of generating a hysteresis load can be obtained with one torsion spring, the number of parts can be reduced, so that the apparatus can be reduced in size, simplified, and cost reduced. Achieved.
[0015]
In the above configuration, it is possible to adopt a configuration in which the rotating member is formed to surround the friction member, the biasing spring, and the return spring.
According to this configuration, the friction member, the biasing spring, and the return spring are accommodated in the internal space of the rotating member so as not to be exposed, so that collision or interference with other parts or the like can be avoided, and the function is improved. Reliability can be ensured. In addition, by covering these components with the rotating member, the entire device can be finished to a compact and smooth surface, and the handleability is improved.

Here, the operation of the hysteresis generation mechanism will be described with reference to FIGS. 6, 7, and 8. FIG. First, when the pedal arm 30 (accelerator pedal 31) is depressed, as shown in FIG. 6, the reaction force F1 of the

[0028]
On the other hand, when the pedal arm 30 (the accelerator pedal 31) is returned toward the rest position, as shown in FIG. 8, the kinetic frictional force generated by the force F3 becomes the opposite direction F4 '', so that the force F5 also becomes the opposite direction. F7, and the force F6 also becomes F8 in the opposite direction. Therefore, the hysteresis load Hr at the time of return is Hr = F3 × μ−F8 × μ, and the return force Pr is Pr = G (X) −Hr, ie, Pr = G (X) − (F3 × μ−F8). × μ), and a return force larger by F8 × μ is obtained than the return force obtained when the friction member is pressed by a spring that generates a constant urging force. The above hysteresis characteristics are as shown in FIG.
[0029]
That is, as understood from FIG. 9, in this hysteresis generating mechanism, the pedaling force (pedal load) Pg is Pg = G (X) + F3 × μ + F6 × μ in the stepping-down direction, and the return force Pr is in the return direction. , Pr = G (X) −F3 × μ + F8 × μ, so that the hysteresis load (Hg) increases when depressing and the hysteresis load (Hr) decreases when returning.
Therefore, at the time of stepping, a desired load is obtained and operability is improved, while at the time of return, a greater return force than when the friction member is pressed by a spring that generates a constant urging force as shown by a two-dot line in FIG. Is obtained, poor return of the pedal arm 30 (accelerator pedal 31) is prevented, and the returning operation to the rest position is more reliably performed.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the accelerator pedal device of the present invention, as a hysteresis generation mechanism that generates a hysteresis load in the pedaling force with the movement of the pedal arm, the accelerator pedal device can rotate integrally with the pedal arm and have a circular arc shape. A rotating member having a sliding surface, a friction member in contact with the sliding surface, and a biasing spring formed so that the biasing force increases as the pedal arm is depressed and pressing the friction member against the sliding surface are employed. As a result, when stepping on, a desired hysteresis load is obtained, and optimum pedaling force characteristics are obtained, and when returning, a smooth return operation is performed by a return force close to the biasing force of the return spring, thereby preventing poor return and the like. High operating characteristics are obtained. In addition, the number of parts, the number of parts, and the like are reduced as compared with the conventional apparatus, so that the structure is simplified, the size is reduced, the cost is reduced, and the like.
