Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water cut-off tape for providing a strong joint force of sheets and for eliminating leakage under high water pressure.
SOLUTION: A tape (an adhesive tape 3) applied with an adhesive on the side thereof or a tape of butyl rubber having adhesiveness is arranged with a granular water-absorbing polymer on the other side of the tape (a water-absorbing pad 2), and an impermeable cover tape 1 is placed thereon to form a sandwich structure comprising the cover tape 1, the water-absorbing pad 2 and the adhesive tape 3, which are joined with one another for use. As one of specific manufacturing methods, the granular water-absorbing polymer is put into a bag of a random material, the adhesive of 0 to 40 weight percent is put into the bag and mixed, and upper and lower faces of the bag are sewn to each other to form a lattice-like shape to make the water-absorbing pad. The water-absorbing pad is sandwiched between the adhesive tape 3 and the cover tape 1, which are adhered to each other. To obtain the strong joint force between the sheets, the tape having the structure is adhered to a part where two sheets abut against with each other in a manner that the tape is laid on the two sheets, and the tape and the sheets are stapled or sewn together. Thus the two sheets are joined to each other with the tape.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

【0001】

[Industrial applications]
The present invention is used for joining waterproof sheets. Therefore, it is mainly used in construction and final landfill sites.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The joining of the waterproof sheets includes a method by adhesion and a method by heat fusion. Of these methods, it is common to butt the sheets together and bond the butt line with an adhesive tape, but in this case, since the adhesive force is weak, when a large tension is applied to the sheets, the sheets are joined at the joints. May break. On the other hand, if the method by heat fusion is correctly performed, there is no water leakage and the adhesive strength is sufficient, but there is a problem that it is difficult to perform complete heat fusion bonding on site.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention overcomes the above disadvantages. Specifically, the present invention is to obtain a waterproof tape having a large bonding force of the sheet and no leakage under high water pressure.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, unlike a normal adhesive tape, the bonding of the sheet to the sheet is performed with an adhesive or butyl tape attached to one side of the tape. To obtain a strong bonding force. At this time, when a normal waterproof tape is used, water leaks from a staple needle penetrating the sheet and the adhesive tape. However, when the water-absorbing polymer is filled in the tape, the water-absorbing polymer expands due to the water that has entered the water-absorbing polymer layer from the hole of the tape, and a large swelling pressure is generated in the water-absorbing polymer layer. This swelling pressure blocks water from entering from the outside. That is, the gap between the staple and the tape is self-repaired, so that leakage from the staple can be eliminated. In the present invention, a tape having the following configuration is provided as a tape satisfying such a principle.
(1) A powdery or water-absorbing polymer is arranged at a rate of 50 to 2500 g / m 2 on the other side of an adhesive tape or adhesive tape such as butyl rubber (adhesive tape {circle around (3)}) coated with an adhesive on one side. (Water absorption pad (2)). An impermeable cover tape (1) is placed thereon, and a sandwich structure of the cover tape (1), the water-absorbing pad (2), and the adhesive tape (3) is formed, and they are integrally joined. Use waterproof tape.
(2) As one of the specific manufacturing methods of the above, a powdery / granular water-absorbing polymer is put in a bag of arbitrary material in the above ratio, and 0 to 40% by weight of the water-absorbing polymer, and the water-absorbing polymer and the bag are put therein. Is mixed with an adhesive having a property of adhering. The upper and lower surfaces of the bag are stitched at an interval of 2 mm to 50 cm in an arbitrary lattice shape to make a water absorbing pad (2). The water absorbing pad is sandwiched and adhered to the adhesive tape (3) and the cover tape (1). Thereby, a strong sandwich structure of the cover tape (1), the water absorbing pad (2), and the adhesive tape (3) can be obtained. Further, leakage of the water-absorbing polymer from the cut end of the tape can be prevented by mixing the adhesive.
(3) In order to obtain a strong bonding strength between the sheets, the sheets are abutted or overlapped, and the tape having the above configuration is attached to the abutting portion or the overlapping portion so as to overlap the two sheets, and a staple or The tape and the sheet are joined by stitching, and the two sheets are joined via the tape. Thereby, even if a strong peeling stress acts on the tape, the stapling or the stitching thread resists and the peeling can be prevented.
[0005]
[Preparation for implementation]
FIG. 1 shows a tape according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 1, a water-absorbing pad is formed by sewing a bag containing a polymer absorber in a lattice shape between the upper and lower tapes, and the upper and lower surfaces of the water-absorbing pad are adhered to the upper and lower tapes. .
[0006]
This tape is used when joining sheets. FIG. 2 shows an example of joining two sheets using the present tape. In this method, for example, the sheet (7) and the sheet (8) are abutted without any gap. Then, the main tape (5) is adhered so as to straddle the sheet (7) and the sheet (8), and the sheets (7) and (8) are connected via the main tape. Even if this state is maintained, water leakage can be blocked, but when a tensile force acts on the sheet (7) and the sheet (8), the tape (5) may be peeled off from the tape (5) to cause water leakage. Then, the tape {circle around (5)} and the sheet {circle around (7)} and the tape {circle around (5)} with the sheet {circle over (8)} are stapled (in the figure, {circle around (6)} indicates stapling needles). The tape is filled with a water-absorbing polymer, and when water enters the tape from the staple, the water-absorbing polymer swells as described above. There is no. With such a configuration, a large bonding strength can be obtained in bonding the sheets.
On the other hand, instead of stapling, the tape and the sheet may be sewn together to join the sheets.
[0007]
【Example】
An experiment was performed to examine the performance of the tape of the present invention. In the experiment, one end of an iron pipe having an inner diameter of 10 cm was closed with a threaded lid, a thin pipe was connected to the lid with a screw, and connected to a water pressure generator via a water pressure gauge. In addition, a screw was cut at the other end of the iron pipe, the outer periphery of the disc-shaped rubber sheet serving as the test piece was applied to the end of the pipe, and the outer periphery of the other surface of the rubber sheet was screwed with a lid having a circular projection. And fixed. In addition, a hole is formed in the lid on the rubber sheet side so that water leakage from the rubber sheet can be confirmed.
The sheet used in this experiment is as shown in FIG. 3. A waterproof rubber sheet having a thickness of 1 mm is cut into a disk having a diameter of 10 cm (disk sheet) as shown in FIG. A slit-shaped hole (12) having a length of 3 cm and a width of about 1.5 mm was formed in the portion. The slit was adhered to a disk sheet so as to cover the slit with a tape of this configuration (length: 7 cm, width: 4 cm, amount of water-absorbing polymer: 0.15 g / cm 2 , adhesion portion: 1 mm thick butyl tape). Further, the disk sheet and the present tape were stapled together as shown in (13) ((13) indicates that the stapler needle is on the line, and the pitch was set to about 1 cm).
The disc sheet was mounted on the above-described experimental apparatus, and the water stop pressure was measured. As a result, no water leakage was observed even at a water pressure of 1 MPa. Since the maximum measurement pressure of this experimental device is 1 MPa, this tape has a further water stopping effect.
[0008]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention is a waterproof tape having a self-healing function for connecting waterproof sheets. The effects are as follows: (1) Since the sheets and the tape are connected by a stapler when connecting the sheets, the bonding strength between the sheets is large.
(2) Even when stopped with a stapler, there is a water stop pressure of 1 MPa or more.
(3) Construction on site is easy.
(4) The tape of the present invention can be used in various fields since it does not leak water even if it is nailed or a bolt is passed therethrough.
