Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an electric wire used for gripping a low wind noise electric wire having a spiral projection on an outer peripheral surface and an overhead ground wire having an optical fiber cable spirally wound on the outer peripheral surface. It relates to a split collar for a clamp.
[0002]
2. Description of the Related Art When a relatively strong wind, such as a seasonal wind, is blown from an orthogonal direction to an overhead power transmission line or the like, a pressure fluctuation occurs due to an alternating separation of an airflow from the surface of the electric wire, which causes wind noise. The wind noise has a dominant frequency component, and the thicker the electric wire, the lower the dominant frequency, and the sound becomes harsh. The following measures are taken to prevent this wind noise.
[0003]
1) Wind noise of the spiral rod is hard to be generated when the cross section is non-circular. Therefore, a spiral shaped rod or the like is wound around the electric wire to make the electric wire having a circular cross section non-circular.
2) Adoption of low wind noise electric wire The method of 1) above is mainly used for existing transmission lines. However, for new transmission lines, a low-winding wire in which a spiral projection is previously formed on the outermost layer is twisted. Wind noise wires are used.
A clamp such as a damper or a spacer is attached to a low wind noise electric wire having a spiral protrusion on the outer peripheral surface or an electric wire having a spiral protrusion formed by winding an optical fiber cable or the like on the outer peripheral surface. In this case, it is preferable to use a split color as disclosed in JP-A-7-59236. The split collar has an outer peripheral surface having a circular cross section and a spiral groove formed in a wire gripping surface (inner peripheral surface) to receive a spiral projection on the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire. This split collar is attached to the outer periphery of the electric wire so that the spiral protrusion on the outer peripheral surface of the wire is inserted into the spiral groove of the electric wire gripping surface, and if it is gripped with a clamp from above, the electric wire is gripped regardless of the presence of the spiral protrusion. be able to.
[0005]
However, the split collar for the wire clamp as described above has a problem in that the outer peripheral surface of the wire is not provided at the mounting position of the damper or the spacer (this position is determined and cannot be shifted in the wire direction). Since the spiral projection must be set so that it enters the spiral groove on the wire gripping surface, the set angle of the split collar to the clamp (the tilt angle of the split collar divided surface with respect to the clamp divided surface) is not constant. The fastening direction of the split collar is not fixed. As a result, the clamping force of the clamp may not be sufficiently transmitted to the electric wire depending on the set angle of the split collar, and a problem such as slipping of the electric wire in the split collar occurs.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide a wire clamping clamp capable of sufficiently transmitting a clamping force to a wire even when a set angle of the clamp with respect to the clamp changes. To provide.
[0007]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to achieve this object, the present invention relates to a split collar for an electric wire clamp comprising a pair of collar halves each having a spiral groove on a wire gripping surface into which a spiral projection on an outer peripheral surface of the electric wire is inserted. In each of the pair of collar halves, in the longitudinal direction or circumferential direction, a non-through groove having a thin portion left between the outer peripheral surface and the electric wire gripping surface was formed. It is characterized by the following.
If the through-groove or the non-through-groove as described above is formed in the halved collar, even if the halved collar is tightened with a clamp from any direction, it is easy to bend in the tightening direction. For this reason, even if the set angle of the split collar changes, the electric wire can be gripped with a substantially constant force.
According to the present invention, a large number of through holes extending from the outer peripheral surface to the electric wire gripping surface or a large number of non-through holes leaving a thin portion between the outer peripheral surface and the electric wire gripping surface are formed in each of the pair of collar halves. It can also be.
Further, the present invention is not limited to the split collar used for damper and spacer clamps, but is used in wedge-type electric wire clamps such as kamalong and wedge-type retaining clamps. Applicable to split color. That is, the present invention relates to a wedge-type wire clamp half-split collar comprising a pair of collar halves each having a tapered outer peripheral surface and a spiral groove formed on a wire gripping surface to receive a spiral projection of the outer peripheral surface of the wire, wherein the pair of collars In each of the halves, a through groove extending from the outer peripheral surface to the electric wire gripping surface or a non-through groove having a thin portion between the outer peripheral surface and the electric wire gripping surface may be formed in the longitudinal direction.

To measure the gripping force, lay the wire between the test diameters at a tension of 20% of the tensile breaking tension of the wire, grip the wire with a clamp via a split collar, apply torque to the clamp, apply a torque to the clamp, and split the wire with the wire. This is to measure the slip start torque between the two. FIG. 5A shows the case where the two-part color of this embodiment is used, and FIG. 5B shows the case where the conventional two-part color is used. The following tendency became clear from the measurement results.
[0019]
1. In the conventional split collar (collar having a constant thickness without a groove), as shown in FIG. 5B, when the set angle θ of the collar changes, the electric wire gripping force greatly changes.
2. In the split collar of the present embodiment in which the
3. The use of the split collar of the present embodiment makes the electric wire gripping force substantially constant because the provision of the
4. The grip force of the conventional collar is significantly reduced when the set angle θ is 90 °. This is because, as can be seen from FIG. 4B, the clamping force of the clamp is consumed as energy for deforming the collar and is not effectively transmitted to the electric wire. Such a tendency is remarkable when a small-sized electric wire is gripped, where the thickness of the collar is relatively large with respect to the outer diameter of the electric wire and the fastening axial force is relatively low.
From the above test results, in order to effectively transmit the clamping force of the clamp to the electric wire, it is sufficient that the split collar is appropriately deformed by receiving the clamping force of the clamp. It is understood that it is effective to form grooves in the longitudinal direction in each of them. The shape, position and number of grooves to be formed may be selected so that the collar itself can be deformed with respect to the clamping force of the clamp without substantially depending on the set angle θ to obtain a predetermined gripping force.

However, instead of a so-called elongated groove, a large number of through holes or non-through holes were formed. It may be provided. In the case of a hole as well, it is sufficient that the split collar can be easily deformed by the clamping force of the clamp when the set angle of the split collar is 90 °.

The wedge-shaped
When gripping a normal electric wire with a kamalong, the kamalong body is attached to the outer periphery of the electric wire, and a half of a wedge-shaped collar is hit with a hammer and struck. The following procedure is performed when grasping a suitable electric wire. First, the wedge-shaped split collar is set on the low wind noise electric wire such that the spiral projection of the low wind noise electric wire is inserted into the spiral groove on the inner peripheral surface of the half wedge-shaped collar. After that, the kamalong body is put on the wedge-shaped split collar, and the fixing bolt is firmly tightened. The reason for taking such a procedure is that if the wedge-shaped split collar is driven after the kamalong main body is attached, the wedge-shaped split collar moves linearly on the electric wire and damages the spiral projection of the electric wire. .

As described above, according to the present invention, an electric wire having a spiral projection on its outer peripheral surface, such as a low wind noise electric wire or an overhead ground wire around which an optical fiber cable is wound, is clamped through a split collar. When gripping with, a stable gripping force can be obtained regardless of the set angle of the split collar. Therefore, it is possible to reliably prevent the electric wire and the optical fiber cable from being damaged due to the slip of the electric wire.
Even when the present invention is applied to a split collar of a wedge-type electric wire clamp such as a kamalong or a wedge-type anchoring clamp, a stable gripping force can be similarly obtained.
