For example, lead-containing glass is often used in television cathode ray tubes, but the amount of lead contained in discarded cathode ray tubes is 20,000 tons each year, and most of them are landfilled in stable landfills. However, it has been recognized that there is a risk that lead, which is a harmful substance, may diffuse, since rainwater permeates in a stable form at its natural state and there is no drainage facility. Is being reviewed.

There is also known an example of a method of separating a cathode ray tube from a face plate portion / funnel portion for each material and forming a cullet (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 185064/1993).

This is because if a predetermined amount of lead is mixed into the panel glass, a browning phenomenon occurs, and the glass mixed with lead cannot be reused as a raw material of the panel glass. Therefore, first, there is a step of separating the panel portion and the funnel portion. For this, a method of defining the position and cutting (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-115449) and frit glass for joining the panel portion and the funnel portion are included. There has been proposed a method of dissolving and separating (JP-A-7-45198).
