Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 加圧された流体を体腔内のバルーンに送達して組織膨張を促進する装置で あって、 前記カテーテルの遠位端に固定され、かつ流体連絡すると共に、体腔内に配置 されるよう適合されたカテーテル(12)及び可膨張性バルーン(26) を含み、さらに バルーンが膨張する際に体腔内から体液を排出する排液手段(22) を特徴とする、装置。 2. 前記カテーテルの近位端に接続し、それにより前記バルーンと流体連絡し てバルーンを膨張させるよう適合された、空気、不活性ガス又は生理食塩水など の流体源(16,40) をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 3. 前記流体源(40)が電動式ポンプをさらに含み、選択に応じて、測定さ れた流体圧力に応答して、前記ポンプを制御可能に作動させることで前記バルー ン内の所定の流体圧力を維持する制御回路をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の装置 。 4. 圧力が予め規定されたレベルを超える場合に流体を放出することにより前 記バルーン(26)内の流体圧力を減じる圧力開放手段(28) をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 5. 前記圧力開放手段(28)が前記カテーテルと流体連絡して配置されたポ ート要素(14)を含み、前記放出ポートを封止するが、ユーザの選択した流体 圧力限界値を超えたときに前記放出ポートから離脱するよう適合された放出プラ グ(14A)をさらに含む、請求項4に記載の装置。 6. 前記カテーテル(12)の近位端に皮下又は体外配置されるよう適合され た ポート(14)をさらに含み、選択に応じて、皮下針の周りに弾性により封止を 形成するよう適合された隔膜をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 7. 前記カテーテルが、患者の尿道内に配置されるよう大きさの適合されたサ イラスティック製カテーテルをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。 8. 前記カテーテルが第一及び第二内腔(12A、12B)をさらに含み、前 記カテーテルがさらに、排液を容易とするために、体腔と流体連絡する少なくと も一つのドレイン開口部(22)と、一つの内腔とを規定する、請求項1に記載 の装置。 9. 前記バルーン(26)が患者の膀胱の膨張が容易となるような大きさに適 合され、選択に応じ、外側バルーン表面が、バルーンが膨張した状態にあるとき に膀胱からの体液の排出を容易とする畝、溝、又は突起をさらに含む、請求項1 に記載の装置。 10. 前記バルーン(26)が当初はしぼんでおり、例えば折り畳まれた又は 巻かれた状態などでは前記カテーテル(12)の凹部(30)内に適合するよう 適合されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
