Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.高精細度ビデオ画像情報を表すデータを処理するための信号処理システムに おける装置であって、当該装置がソースから利用ネットワークへデータを運ぶ信 号処理経路を含んだものにおいて、前記信号処理経路は、 画像情報を含むデータブロック(X)のデータストリームを受け取る入力(3 32、図23)であって、前記データストリームがそのソースにおいて中断しが ちなものと、 中断されたデータストリームから最後の有効なデータブロックを中断の持続時 間に所定の間隔で繰り返させて、データブロックの流れを所定のデータ位相で維 持するようにする制御回路(356、360、364)と を含むことを特徴とする装置。 2.請求項1において、 前記利用ネットワークはデータ圧縮解除ネットワーク(80〜84)であるこ とを特徴とする装置。 3.請求項1において、 前記データストリームは順方向または逆方向MPEG互換動き予測情報のいず れかを含むことを特徴とする装置。 4.請求項2において、 前記データ圧縮解除ネットワークは、最終的に復号された表示のための画像情 報を作成するMPEGデコーダの動き補償プロセッサ(90)を含んだDPCM ネットワークに含まれることを特徴とする装置。 5.MPEG互換デコーダにおける方法であって、当該方法は高精細度ビデオ画 像情報を表すデータを処理するものにおいて、 (a)MPEG符号化画像を表すデータストリームを最初に復号して、復号さ れたデータを作成するステップと、 (b)前記最初に復号されたデータを圧縮解除して、最初に圧縮解除されたデ ータを作成するステップと、 (c)前記最初に圧縮解除されたデータを再圧縮して、再圧縮されたデータを 作成するステップと、 (d)前記再圧縮されたデータを記憶するステップと、 (e)記憶され再圧縮されたデータをデータ・デコンプレッサに運ぶステップ であって、中断されたデータストリームから最後の有効なデータブロックを中断 の持続時間に所定の間隔で繰り返して、データブロックの流れを所定のデータ位 相で維持するようにするステップを含んだものと、 (f)ステップ(e)で運ばれた、記憶され再圧縮されたデータを圧縮解除し て、第2の圧縮解除されたデータを作成するステップと、 (g)前記第2の圧縮解除されたデータを動き補償処理するステップと を含むことを特徴とする方法。 6.請求項5において、 前記再圧縮ステップ(c)、前記記憶ステップ(d)、前記運ぶステップ(e)、前 記圧縮解除ステップ(f)、および前記動き補償処理ステップ(g)は、表示のため 最終的に復号されたサンプルデータを作成するDPCM動き処理ネットワークを 含むことを特徴とする方法。 7.高精細度ビデオ画像情報を表すデータを処理するためのディジタル信号処理 システムにおける装置であって、当該装置がソースから利用ネットワークへデー タを運ぶ信号処理経路を含んだものにおいて、前記信号処理経路は、 画像情報を含む第1データブロック(X)の第1データストリームを受け取る 入力(332、図23)であって、前記第1データストリームがそのソースにお いて中断しがちなものと、 画像情報を含む第2データブロック(Y)の第2データストリームを受け取る 入力(334、図23)であって、前記第2データストリームがその ソースにおいて中断しがちなものと、 前記第1および第2のデータブロックが所定の間隔で現れている状態で、前記 第1および第2のデータストリームを結合して複合データストリーム(図24) とする回路(336)と、 中断された第1または第2のデータストリームから最後の有効なデータブロッ クを中断の持続時間に所定の間隔で前記複合データストリーム内で繰り返させて 、データブロックの流れを第1データストリーム型データの第2データストリー ム型データに対する所定の位相で維持するようにする制御回路(356、360 、364)と を含むことを特徴とする装置。 8.請求項7において、 前記制御回路は、中断したデータストリームを示す制御信号(HALT)に応 答して前記繰り返されるデータブロックを作成するための、フィードバック構成 に配置されたシフト・レジスタ・ネットワーク(338、340、342、34 4、346、350)を含むことを特徴とするシステム。 9.請求項7において、 前記結合する回路は、 前記第1データストリームを受け取るための第1入力と、前記第2データスト リームを受け取るための第2入力と、インターリーブされた第1および第2のデ ータブロックを提供する出力とを有するデータ・インターリーブ回路(336) を含む ことを特徴とするシステム。 10.請求項7において、 前記利用ネットワークはデータ圧縮解除ネットワーク(80〜84、図1)で あることを特徴とするシステム。 11.請求項7において、 前記第1データストリームはMPEG互換順方向動き予測情報を表し、 前記第2データストリームはMPEG互換逆方向予測情報を表す ことを特徴とするシステム。 12.請求項10において、 前記データ圧縮解除は、表示(70、72)のために最終的に復号された画像 情報を作成するためのMPEG互換デコーダのDPCM動き処理ネットワーク( 80〜84、90、30〜32、40、42、60)に含まれることを特徴とす るシステム。 13.高精細度ビデオ画像情報を表すデータを処理する方法において、 画像情報を含む第1データブロックの第1データストリームを生成するステッ プであって、当該第1データストリームがそのソースにおいて中断しがちなもの と、 画像情報を含む第2データブロックの第2データストリームを生成するステッ プであって、当該第2データストリームがそのソースにおいて中断しがちなもの と、 前記第1および第2のデータブロックが所定の間隔で現れている状態で、前記 第1および第2のデータストリームを結合して複合データストリームとするステ ップと、 中断された第1または第2のデータストリームから最後の有効なデータブロッ クを中断の持続時間に所定の間隔で前記複合データストリーム内で繰り返させて 、データブロックの流れを第1データストリーム型データの第2データストリー ム型データに対する所定の位相で維持するようにするステップと を含むことを特徴とする方法。 14.請求項13において、 前記結合するステップは、インターリーブされた画素データが組み合わされた データストリームを作成するためのデータ・インターリーブ・ステップであるこ とを特徴とする方法。 15.請求項13において、さらに、 前記複合データストリームをデータ・デコンプレッサに運ぶステップを含むこ とを特徴とする方法。 16.請求項13において、 前記第1データストリームはMPEG互換順方向動き予測情報を表し、 前記第2データストリームはMPEG互換逆方向予測情報を表す ことを特徴とする方法。 17.請求項15において、 前記データ圧縮解除は、表示のために最終的に復号された画像情報を作成する ためのMPEG互換デコーダのDPCM動き処理ネットワークに含まれることを 特徴とする方法。
