Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.鋼及びステンレス鋼の機械加工に対して優れた特性を備え、WCと、4〜 25wt%Coと、を含んでなり、WC粒が0.2〜3.5μmの範囲の平均粒 径である超硬合金インサートであって、 前記WC粒が、0〜4.5μmの範囲の狭い粒径分布であることを特徴とする 超硬合金インサート。 2.WCと、5〜20wt%Coと、TiC、TaC、NbCまたはそれらの 混合物のような0〜30wt%好ましくは0〜15wt%もっとも好ましくは0 〜10wt%の立方晶炭化物と、を含んでなり、WC粒が0.8〜3.5μm好 ましくは1.0〜3.0μmの範囲の平均粒径である超硬合金インサートであっ て、 前記WC粒が、0.5〜4.5μmの範囲の狭い粒径分布であることを特徴と する請求項1記載の超硬合金インサート。 3.WCと、10〜25wt%のCo好ましくは15〜20wt%のCoと、 を含んでなり、WC粒が0.2〜1.0μmの範囲の平均粒径である超硬合金イ ンサートであって、 前記WC粒が、0〜1.5μmの範囲の狭い粒径分布であることを特徴とする 請求項1記載の超硬合金インサート。 4.バインダー相中のCo含有量が次に定義されたCW比で表せ、 CW比=Ms/(wt%Co*0.0161) Msは、kA/mで示す焼結超硬合金インサートの測定飽和磁化であり、wt %Coは超硬合金中のCoの重量パーセントであり、 0.82〜1.0好ましくは0.86〜0.96であることを特徴とする請求 項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の超硬合金インサート。 5.前記インサートが薄い耐摩耗性被膜を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜 4のいずれか1項に記載の超硬合金インサート。 6.前記被膜が、柱状粒のTiCxNvOz、引き続きαAl2 O3、κAl2O3またはαAl2O3及びκAl2O3の混合物の層を含んでなるこ とを特徴とする請求項5記載の超硬合金インサート。 7.WC、TiC、TaC及び/またはNbCの粉末、バインダー金属及び加 圧材を混合すること、スプレー乾燥によって好ましく乾燥すること、インサート を加圧成形すること及び焼結することによって超硬合金切削工具インサートの製 造方法であって、 狭い粒径分布の解凝集したWC粉末を使用し、 TiC、TaC及び/またはNbCの粉末を解凝集し、且つ 前記混合が粒径または粒径分布に変化のない湿潤混合であることを特徴とする 超硬合金切削工具インサートの製造方法。 8.狭い粒径分布のWC粉末は、4.5μmを越える粗粒端及び0.5μm未 満の微細粒端をジェット粉砕選別機のような篩わけによって、除くことを特徴と する請求項7記載の製造方法。 9.狭い粒径分布のWC粉末は、1.5μmを越える粗粒端をジェット粉砕選 別機のような篩わけによって、除くことを特徴とする請求項7記載の製造方法。 10.WC粉末がバインダー金属で被覆され且つ混合前に解凝集されることを 特徴とする請求項7〜9のいずれか1項に記載の製造方法。
