Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 光を発生する光源と、 発生される光を混濁媒体に結合するための複数の入口開口と、光検出器が結合 される複数の出口開口とを設けられた、混濁媒体を収容するためのホルダと、 該光源と複数の入口開口から選択されるべき入口開口とを光学的に結合する選 択ユニットとを含む、混濁媒体中の対象を局所化する装置であって、 該光源と該選択された入口開口との間の光路の透過率の変動を打ち消すための 手段を含むことを特徴とする装置。 2. 上記選択ユニットは入口光導体及び出口光導体を設けられ、該入口光導体 の第1の端は光源に光学的に結合され、一方該入口光導体の第2の端は出口光導 体のうちの1つの第1の端への光学的な結合のために変位可能であるよう配置さ れ、該出口光導体の第2の端は選択された入口開口に結合され、各出口光導体の 第1の端の開口数は入口光導体の第2の開口数よりも大きいことを特徴とする、 請求項1記載の装置。 3. 上記選択ユニットの入口光導体は第1のタイプの光ファイバを含み、上記 選択ユニットの各出口光導体は第2のタイプの光ファイバを含むことを特徴とす る、請求項2記載の装置。 4. 各出口光導体はまた、第2のタイプの光ファイバの性質とは異なる性質を 有する第3のタイプの光ファイバを含み、光ファイバコネクタユニットを通じて 同一の出口光導体の第2のタイプの光ファイバに光学的に結合されることを特徴 とする、請求項3記載の装置。 5. 上記第2のタイプの光ファイバは水晶を含むことを特徴とする、請求項4 記載の装置。 6. 上記第3のタイプの光ファイバは合成材料を含むことを特徴とする、請求 項4又は5記載の装置。 7. 上記光ファイバコネクタユニットは、第2のタイプの光ファイバの第2の 端を含む第1の部分と、第3のタイプの光ファイバの第1の端を含む第2の部分 とを含み、 光吸収材料は第1の部分と第2の部分との間に配置され、第2のタイプの光フ ァイバを第3のタイブの光ファイバに光学的に結合するための光伝導路を設けら れることを特徴とする、請求項4乃至6のうちいずれか1項記載の装置。 8. 上記光吸収材料はまた弾性的な性質を有することを特徴とする、請求項7 記載の装置。 9. 請求項2乃至4のうちいずれか1項記載の装置において使用されるための 選択ユニット。 10. 請求項7又は8記載の装置において使用されるための光ファイバコネク タユニット。
