Continuous dryer with permanent magnet
Description of the invention
The present invention relates to a continuous dryer with a permanent magnet, in particular, a dryer for continuous sheet material,
In the dryer, drying heat is applied to a plurality of plates or metal drums.

This is caused by

Other advantages and features of the dryer of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Will be apparent from the following detailed description.
In the drawing:
FIG. 1 is a schematic longitudinal sectional view showing one embodiment of the dryer of the present invention;
Figure 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the dryer of Figure 1;
FIG. 3 is a schematic sectional view showing another embodiment of the dryer of the present invention;
Fig. 4 is a schematic side view showing one embodiment of a magnetic cylinder of the dryer;
FIG. 5 is a schematic side view showing another embodiment of the magnetic cylinder of the dryer.
Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a dryer according to one embodiment of the present invention is preferably used.
Preferably it comprises a cylinder 1 made of ferromagnetic steel, on the base of the cylinder two
Two shafts 2, 2 rotatably supported on roller bearings 3, 3 '
′ Is fixed coaxially with the cylinder. One axis is a known control means (shown in the figure)
(Not shown) is connected to the motor 4 whose rotational speed can be adjusted.
The plurality of permanent magnets 5 are preferably in the shape of a parallelepiped and have high magnetic induction and
A magnet having a residual coercive force, such as a neodymium permanent magnet. And the
The plurality of permanent magnets 5 are regularly spaced on the outer surface of the rotary cylinder 1 and
They are arranged to have alternating polarity. The "checkerboard" arrangement of the permanent magnets 5 is shown in FIG.
As can be clearly seen in, originating from one magnet and returning to the adjacent magnet
The magnetic flux lines are generated, so that all the magnetic flux lines are connected. With this arrangement of magnets,
A high intensity and uniform magnetic field is obtained around the rotating cylinder 1. Permanent magnet 5 is preferred
Or separated from each other via the insulating material layer 6.
It is arranged.
The drum 7 made of a conductive material is preferably made of aluminum,
It is rotatably attached to the shafts 2 and 2 ′ by a plurality of rollers 8,
It is arranged coaxially on the side. The inner surface of the drum 7 is located at the shortest position from the permanent magnet 5
Properly positioned. Thus, the distance between the magnet 5 and the drum 7 is small.
Almost all of the magnetic flux lines pass through the drum 7, and do not pass through the drum 7.
Since the magnetic dispersion caused by the magnetic flux lines that directly short-circuit between the poles is extremely small,
A sufficiently high thermal efficiency is obtained. The material to be dried 9 is usually a continuous paper sheet,
A piece or other winding material around the drum 7
It is wound about half the circumference.
One end of the two ends of the drum 7, preferably opposite the motor 4, is provided with a gear 11
And the tooth portion 10 engaged with the second member. The gear 11 is connected to the oil tank 1 by the hydraulic circuit 13.
4 and a hub of a hydraulic pump 12 connected in series to an oil flow throttle valve 15.
. The circuit further includes a safety valve 16 connected in parallel with the throttle valve 15, the safety valve comprising
If there is a sudden pressure change in the pressure circuit 13, it operates to compensate for it.
During use, the cylinder 1 and the magnet 5 are rotated at a constant speed by the motor 4 and thus the rotating magnetic field
Is generated. The magnetic force is induced by the permanent magnet 5 according to Lenz's law.
Ram 7 is cylinder 1
The material to be dried 9 is rotated while being pulled in the same direction as the rotation of. Operate the throttle valve 15
As a result, the oil flow in the hydraulic circuit 13 can be adjusted, and thus the teeth 1 of the drum 7 can be adjusted.
0 adjusts the energy required for the operation of the pump 12 operated by the gear 11 engaged.
Can be adjusted. Therefore, the opening and closing of the throttle valve 15 follows the rotation speed of the cylinder 1.
The braking action of the hydraulic circuit 13 on the rotation speed of the drum 7 can be adjusted.
Therefore, this drum is subjected to a rotating magnetic field generated by the relative rotation of the cylinder 1.
Thus, the temperature increases due to the induced eddy current.
By operating the motor 4 and the throttle valve 15, the rotation of the cylinder 1 and the drum 7 is achieved.
The rolling speed can be controlled independently, and therefore the thermal energy supplied to the material to be dried
Can be adjusted very accurately. This supply is related to the forward speed of the material 9 to be dried.
And can be kept constant. In fact, the forward speed of the material to be dried 9 is increased or decreased due to external factors.
Even when it is necessary to increase or decrease the rotation speed of the cylinder 1,
The heat could be regulated. Using a braking system of the above type
Determines how much magnetic energy is converted to power and converted to heat
It can be set accurately, and thus the efficiency of the dryer can be optimized.
Referring to FIG. 3, in a dryer according to another embodiment of the present invention,
The heating surface is turned into a drum and, like the drum, is preferably made of aluminum
Plane sea
And is horizontally disposed at a tangent position to the cylinder 1. This type
The dryer is technically simpler than the preferred embodiment described above, but supplies the material to be dried.
The amount of heat to be applied simultaneously adjusts the rotation speed of the cylinder 1 and the forward speed of the material to be dried.
Can only be adjusted by Therefore, should the drying operation be performed at the forward speed of the material to be dried
Can no longer be independent and depend on them.
In a dryer according to another embodiment of the present invention, the magnetic field generated by the magnet
Is variable during the rotation of the cylinder 1 as long as it is variable.
The magnets are mounted in the manner described above and shown in FIG.
Instead of a polar method, another method, for example, as shown in FIG.
It is possible to arrange them on a flat line and in such a way as to have alternating polarity.
