Descrizione Description
25 e 26; 2 in fig. 24; 3 in fig. 20; 6 in fig. 15). 24, preferibilmente fisso, concentrico come 4 in fig. Oppure tale semianello accessorio, 3 in fig. 15 e 4 in fig. 20 e 26. 26. Tale flangia 4 (e o 4a) in fig. 12 e 13; 2-2a-2b in fig. 11. 12 e 1 in fig. 14. The current production of hosiery? characterized by the fact that the knitted tube corresponding to the toe of the sock is sewn after its production with machinery and personal accessories. Some recently proposed methods to automatically close the tip make it much more? textile machines are complex and expensive, that is, they offer reductive solutions limited to certain types and fineness of sock machines. The present invention intends to eliminate or reduce at least in part these limits and costs and therefore a primary purpose is to provide a method and the relative apparatus for the automatic closing, even partial, of a tube and or knitted article in general, socks in particular. , directly on the textile machine with additional costs more? contents. Another main object is to provide a method and the relative apparatus for automatically closing the toe of a sock with the temporary transfer of a part of the knitting tube from a needle bed (and or pad) to another needle bed and or cylinder, on a plurality of bars. of elements placed even beyond the circumference of the needles for the progressive movement and or overturning of the stitch by means and or moving parts operating outside the cylinder, pad and or needles. An additional object is to provide a method and the relative apparatus for transferring a flap of stitch from one part of the needle cylinder to the other and or needle bed by using at least one movable element or half-ring adapted to receive and then release said stitch. to other needles and or sinkers and or hooks and or hooks after overturning about 180? from its initial position. Another main object is to provide a method and the relative apparatus for producing a sock having an excess knit border, internal or external, at the beginning and or at the end of the article. Further objectives result from the description, examples and attached drawings, for s? or in combination with each other, in addition to the final claims. The characteristics of the invention and the advantages deriving from it result more clearly from the following description of exemplary embodiments, referred to the usual electronic sock machine with cylinder rotating against stationary cams (and or vice versa). The invention illustrates a generic single-cylinder machine for men's socks equipped with hooks in the backing pad and applies to generality. sock machines starting from the edge or from the toe. In a first embodiment, the sock starts from the toe with the production of knit preferably on one half. about the cylinder and or needle bed with the usual reciprocating motion or with the "pocket" tip obtained with the continuous motion of the cylinder together with the overlying hooks housed in the pad, pl. 1, figures 1-2-3, suitable for retaining the initial knitting edge. Produced a quantity? of sufficient stitch, the needles descend and the hooks of the pad (and other movable parts housed therein) come out preferably guided by the usual device, also modified. Therefore, a temporary transfer of stitches takes place on special hooks-platelets, (hereinafter also called hooks), for example 1 in figures 7-8-9-10-15, and 4 in fig. 12; 2 in fig. 16; also oscillating, both parallel to the needles and therefore housed in the cylinder, with similar undulatory motion by means of cams, or housed in their own cuts in the crown, similar to the traditional knitted sinkers, or overlapped and or adjacent to them and or housed also in the same cuts or channels. Said hooks are provided with at least one control heel and or with an individual spring, 2 in fig. 15, or collective, or foments of elasticity? its own both for the meander structure, and for the inherent capacity? to flex and recover, if subjected to appropriate pressure at at least one end, as 5 in fig. 12. These hooks are also characterized by an oscillating and or vertical movement, in the case in question produced by a force and or cam acting on the aforementioned heel and or on another part of the same hook according to the various technical requirements. In this case, the single hook in the elevated position corresponds to the rest or departure position which is modified during the transfer or exit of the hooks from the backing pad (or movable parts of another needle bed) and or other movable parts housed therein, suitable for moving and or directing even beyond the circumference of the needles the stitch taken by the hooks at the beginning of the article. In order to facilitate the passage of the hooks of the pad, said hooks are temporarily pressed downwards by a suitable cam and or other suitable element. When the constricting effect ceases, said hooks automatically resume their usual high position, or are raised again in order to enter and or insert themselves between the eyelets of the hooks and or in any case within the initial knitting cord. Otherwise, these hooks can operate with inverted phases: usually at the bottom and then adequately raised to fit between the hooks of the backing pad and or initial stitch in coordination with the release and or movement of the hooks. These hooks operate in different ways according to the various embodiments falling within the scope of the present invention. Having taken the stitch, they move it and or give it to an adjacent mobile half-ring, variously provided with points and or slots and or beaks and or tongues and or even different appendages, however capable of overturning said stitch on the opposite side of the needle bed. Taking into account the foreseeable tension differences in the starting stitch still attached to the hooks, needles or other parts of the! pad, the output of the same can? follow different and or repeated and or alternating times and or procedures. So how could it be convenient to use at the beginning of the sock a number of needles and or hooks greater than half, for example, more? 2- 4 hooks at each end, to then overturn a part of the lower link, for example only half, in order to ensure complete suture of the tip and or for other textile, technical and aesthetic advantages. The temporary transfer of the stitch is preferably carried out with the same hooks of the backing pad, also modified as in table 1, figures 4-5-6 and or elongated, possibly provided with additional heels, however able to be pushed and guided even beyond the usual circumference needles. For its part, the backing pad is modified if necessary, with additional exit and return cams, also opposed to the usual ones, or with an additional internal rotating cam, eccentric and or coaxial to the backing pad, also operating on different planes with a simple movement or command coming from the top? of the same shaft, in order to push the jacks or other parts of the pad outwards, or to recall them (fig. 19, K). Also falls within? among the purposes of the invention, the autonomous rotation, even partial, of said pad or part thereof, by means of a mechanical control and or rotation device and or by means of an electric motor, preferably of the ACC or step type, governed by the microprocessor. Such a movement? complementary to the usual mechanical movement, which can be deactivated on command with devices such as the well-known Scott-Williams. Said hooks, even if different, also arranged on the entire crown, are preferably separated by lamellae or appendages obtained during the processing of the same crown, or inserted thereafter and or replaceable. These are vertical "heels", of variable dimensions and shapes, with the function of separators between the aforementioned hooks and or of support for the folding half-ring, and or of seat or anchoring for said half-ring and or other half-rings, even partial, even non-overturning and or connected to the previous tipper. In fact the number and or the arrangement of the aforementioned heel-separators, not necessarily equivalent to the fineness of the machine, forms a support surface on which,? at least one half ring is housed (1 in fig. 25 and 26; 2 in fig. 24; 3 in fig. 20; 6 in fig. 15). This ? provided with cuts and or slats, teeth and or appendages and or points and or slots, also variously arranged: at the top and or laterally, internal and or external, long and or short, rigid or elastic, curved and or linear, in any case suitable for inserting and or hooking the shirt, and or arrange it in the optimal position to be subsequently gripped, and or knitted by any other hooks, and or by the needles and or by the hooks of the pad and or by other movable parts housed in the needle bed. In the present case, the aforementioned half-ring? pivoted to at least one end? to the above-mentioned heel-separators T in fig. 20; the parts are articulated to each other by means of a pin or hinge whose axis? diametrical and or coaxial to the needle cylinder. Given the inevitable diversity? technical-textiles that condition the various types of machines in general, knitwear and hosiery in particular (gauges, diameters, double cylinders, female and male hosiery), in different realizations this articulation? obtained by adopting other usual techniques concerning the connection of mechanical parts by means of pins, hooks, balls, joints, joints and any other means suitable for the purpose. In other embodiments, the said half-ring, possibly formed by at least two variously fixed parts, 2 - 2a and 3 in fig. 24,? articulated and or connected to another accessory half-ring, even partial, 7 in fig. 24, preferably fixed, concentric as 4 in fig. 25, and or mirror the first as 2 and 3 in fig. 25; also housed in a groove of the same crown, 1 in fig. 21, modifying if necessary, the plates and other moving parts. Or this accessory half-ring, 3 in fig. 22,? provided with at least one pin 5 and or appendix 4, inserted by interlocking into the cuts of the aforementioned separator beads or inserted and or screwed into the corresponding seat obtained in the crown and or between the separator beads of the second half? of the crown, or cylinder. Alternatively, the half ring? supported and guided only by its flange or bracket for tipping, 6 in fig. 15 and 4 in fig. 20 and 26. This, preferably C-shaped,? located in the vicinity? of the sinker case C in fig. 26. Such flange 4 (and or 4a) in fig. 26, represents the terminal of a small curved arm, 3 in fig. 26, concentric to the cylinder which develops for about 90? from the midline. Said arm performs different functions: it supports, raises, guides and overturns the aforementioned half-ring from one side of the cylinder to the other and or vice versa (arrow F in figs.; 19-20-21-26). Therefore said arm? functionally and or structurally connected to at least one control device (5 in fig. 26) of various types: mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and or electromechanical preferably governed by the microprocessor. Once the cylinder has been stopped in the foreseen position, remove the falls and or the pad or other needle bar above, if necessary, (as a rule these parts are raised but variations in this regard are possible, such as lateral displacement and or retraction), the aforementioned movable arm lift the half-ring overturning it for about 180 ?. As a rule, it rotates solidly with the cylinder, which is variously anchored and or articulated to it and or to the sinkers case; overturning, it slips off and or raises the shirt, like a comb. In accordance with the invention, the aforementioned movable arm (and or its half-ring), in addition to overturning, also performs limited excursions by means of a usual mechanical and or pneumatic, and or electrical device, and or by other means suitable for the purpose placed above or laterally to the sinkers case. These additional functions have various and intuitive advantages, including. which favor the variable overturning, even asymmetrical, as well as activating the insertion of the half ring and or part? housed there and or connected in the mesh of the pad or needle bed. above. Or, after overturning, prepare the stitch to be adequately gripped by the hooks, hooks, and or needles and or other moving parts of the pad and or additional needle bed for different types of sutures. In realizations more? complete, the aforementioned half-ring? equipped with movable net hooks, 4 in fig. 12 and 13; 2-2a-2b in fig. 11. Housed in the relative cuts, sliding and oscillating by means of usual mechanical, electrical control devices and or cams or springs, also guided by additional adjacent and or underlying movable elements, 5 in fig. 12 and 1 in fig. 14. Preferably held by at least one thin pin, single as 3 in FIG. 12; or common, concentric to the cylinder, inserted in the holes or meanders of the same. After the overturning of the half ring, the cylinder is completely covered by a knitted disk; the subsequent ascent of the needles (and or of the hooks 3 in fig. 17-18) even without thread and or in the "retained" position, a term known to experts, produces the knitting of the fabric and the possible return of the half-ring in the seat original. ? ' provision is made for the use of a stitch clamp on the cylinder side preferably in the shape of a fork in order to press the stitch in front of and behind the needles, the ascent of which takes place in the center of the aforementioned fork. (The same method can also be used in the previous phase in which the link is taken from the half-ring and or hooks). In another embodiment, the non-rotating (or rotating only temporarily on a rotating base, by means of the insertion or programmed engagement of pins and or other transmission elements between the sinkers case and the underlying cylinder or crown), is a non-rotating half-ring. placed above or adjacent to the sinker cover, on which? articulated. The fabric? transferred by lifting the half-ring and inserting the hooks in the overlying stitch, even at the same time, with the hooks pushed beyond the circumference of the needles, then recalled with the movement of a special cam of the pad, K in fig. 16. Does the overturning follow the procedures already? described with the appropriate modifications; when the machine stops, the half-ring yields the link to elements of the second half? of the cylinder and returns, that is, it rotates while the said fabric yields.
23 che all'esterno 6 in fig. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 15 and 16, the hook 1? also provided with a stem inserted in the vertical cut of the crown. In accordance with the control device and or profile of the relative cams, said hook follows an undulatory path? or even swinging. Specifically, the outer circumference of the crown? characterized by slats and vertical cuts, even staggered with respect to the usual ones of sinkers. The hook, of variable thickness,? inserted between the stitch sinkers, preferably in correspondence with the single needle. Suitably extended and either direct or controlled, said hook, also double, 2 a, in fig. 11, reaches the sides of the needle, as well as in front of and on top of it, to receive and or release the fabric. In the various embodiments, the invention produces both the regular suture of the tip and different sutures, characterized by one or more? excess mesh margins. Then additional knitting rows produced before and or at the end of the cuff, 3c-3b and 4b, fig. 23 A, and o after the initial and or final suture of the tip, 3 and 4 in fig. 23, or also in double ply or fabric, also produced with a part of the needles and or with the hooks, variable in length, extended throughout the sock, even simultaneously and or superimposed, both internally, 5 in fig. 23 and outside 6 in fig.
23 of the same, however produced, from the edge or from the tip. In summary, additional and optional margins or borders for aesthetic-ornamental, textile reasons, for greater local comfort and or to cover the suture. In at least one case, the displacement of this excess mesh or border towards the inside of the cylinder before suturing occurs in various ways: by means of a lateral movable stitch clamp, or by the advancement of hooks and other movable parts of the crown; with the aid of the nozzles and or moving parts connected or inserted therein, by means of compressed or aspirated air, and or with the aid of the dial, even modified for the purpose, and or other suitable means placed in proximity? sinker cover. The invention is further characterized by the presence of movable hooks 3 in fig. 14, sliding in the half-ring, also activated by additional underlying sinkers 1, (and or above) provided by at least one appendix and or tip P acting against the element 4, provided preferably with an individual return spring, pivoted and or articulated with 7. The action of the platen-hook 1, also stuck in the hook 3, produces various effects: it pushes, guides and or recalls the upper hook 3 and finally lifts it by opening the upper gripper at the same time 5-6. Therefore this action first allows the insertion of the hooks into the hooks and the overlying mesh, to then clamp it and hold it adequately during the overturning. Analogous result? obtained by coordinating the movement of the hook 4 in fig. 12, which, after having taken the link 8, by withdrawing it, locks it in its seat or cut or against the limit of the half-ring. As regards the closure of the toe with stockings produced by the edge, in addition to the aforementioned embodiments and the adaptations of the case, the invention also uses the hooks 3, single or multiple, shown in figures 17 and 18, pl. 2, for s? and or in combination with other parts? and or functions previously described. These hooks are provided with the usual control heels and relative tracks or cams, (not shown but similar to those of the needles) in order to thread the final stitch, and or prepare it to be taken and or sold by and or to other moving parts housed in the cylinder, pad and or other needle bed. Furthermore, these hooks perform other important functions including retaining the stitch, even after overturning, or retaining the initial knit edge produced without a pad, for the production of a fabric or double edge with suture on the outside. The present description is necessarily schematic as the flexibility? of the invention allows a wide range of embodiments that can be easily understood by those skilled in the art.

Fig. 10 shows the hooks 1 and la, upside down, interacting with the hook 3, provided with stitch 2. With 4? indicated the underlying needle. Fig. 11 partially shows the half-ring 1 in whose cuts are housed and guided, if necessary, by other movable elements below, different types of hooks: 2b, simple r 2a, double - 2, provided with a groove 6 which houses an element similar to a tongue of needle, with its own spring, hinged on 5. Plate 2 Fig. 12 illustrates the guide flange 1, the half-ring 2 in whose cuts they operate to and from the needles and or hooks, the movable hooks 4, also hinged on 3, guided with interlocking 6 and or 7 by the underlying hooks 5. The tip 4 moves backwards the link 8 in order to hold it during the overturning. Fig. 13 shows the hook 4 overturned: a cam or other adjacent known device interacts with 7 according to the arrow F. Fig. 14? a variant of 12 whereby the lower hook 1 pushes and or raises the upper one 3, also following the inclined plane 2a, until? the tip P, active against the appendix 4, prevails on the spring (not shown) and separates or opens like a scissors the part 6, oscillating on 7, already? tightened against 5. FIG. 16 shows the lower guide hook 1, housed in vertical cuts of the outer crown, while it interacts with the upper one 2 housed in the half-ring, while it slips the upper tip into the hook 3 to take or receive the stitch. Figure 15? a variant of the previous one: the lower hook 1 e o la, also provided with a spring 2, interacts with the tip 3 in the hooks 4. The link is transferred to the fixed and or mobile points of the half-ring 5 during the return movement. Fig. 17 shows the yarn or knit 2 in the needle 1 flanked by the movable elements 3, essentially housed outside the cuts of the sinkers, provided with upper points 4 suitable for threading the knit. Fig. 18 differs only in that the movable parts 3 which flank the needle operate essentially in correspondence with the cuts of the sinkers P. The movable parts 3 can be indifferently housed on the cylinder and or on the crown and sinkers. Fig. 19 shows the backing pad 1 with the hooks U with also different heels B and the internal movable cam K. The stitch 2, through the hook 3, passes to the half-ring 4; overturned as 4a. transfers the stitch to the hook 5 which advances to position 6 bringing the stitch 7 to a favorable position for the needles, and or the adjacent hooks and or for the hooks 8. Table 3: fig. 20 shows the half-ring 3 held by the flange 4 on the sinkers case 2. The half ring? pivoted at the ends? to some separator heels T placed on the second half? of the crown. The overturning of the half-ring, hatched, follows the arrow F. In fig. 21 the half ring 3 is hinged on another fixed half ring housed in the sinker crown 1. Fig. 22 shows in section the overturning half-ring 1 hinged on the accessory half-ring 3, provided with appendages, and or pin 5 able to fit into the cuts of the crown 4 or into suitable holes. Fig. 23 shows a tip with three different types of suture, internal or external: 2 indicates the traditional suture, 3 shows the excess border in the shape of a flounce and either an open or closed tube; finally 4 (and 4a) shows the suture with an excess margin of stitch worked also for aesthetic effects. 5 indicates the internal double-ply flounce and 6 the similar external one, even partial ones, therefore not on the whole cylinder. Fig. 23A? referring to the edge or cuff 1 of the sock, whose unthreading and or and start-end of the sock, internal or external, reproduces with 3b -3c and 4b the ornamental technical characteristics of figure 23. In practice, extending these knitting effects also on the rest of the sock , This ? it can also be used as a sock-slipper or sock-shoe. Fig. 24 shows the half ring 2 - 2a pivoted with 3 to the accessory half ring 7. The hooks 4 are radial to the cylinder 1, in correspondence with the needles 6 or between the needles 5. Fig. 25 shows the half ring 1, pivoted on the median line to the fixed half ring 2 or 3 or 4. Fig. 26 shows the folding half-ring 1, adjacent to the sinker case C, hinged on 2, held by the arm 3 by means of a flange 4 and or 4a. Said curved arm 3 is connected on the median line to the electric motor 5 for tipping into position la. With 6? indicated the circumference of the needles.
