Abstract

A sintered bearing (1) contains 3 to 12 weight percent of aluminum and 0.05 0.5 weight percent of phosphorus has copper as the balance of the main components and contains unavoidable impurities. The sintered bearing (1) is characterized by having a structure in which an aluminum copper alloy is sintered using a sintering agent added to a starting material powder and in that pores (db, do) in a front layer section of the sintered bearing (1) are formed smaller than internal pores (di).
