Abstract

Al - base alloys contg. at least one other element, esp. 0.05 - 4 wt.% Co, and up to 2.5 wt.% of one or more supplementary elements chosen from Mg, Fe Ni, Cu, Si, Zr, Ce, Nb, Hf, La, Ta, Cs, Y, Sc, Th, Su, Mo, Zn, W, Cr, Bi, Sb, V, Re, Dy, Te, Er, Nd, In, B, Th, Rb, Ti, C. The alloys contain 93.50-99.65 wt.% Al. The alloys are used to mfe. electrically conducting wire, cable, connections, terminals and have a min. conductivity of 57% of the IACS conductivity of annealed copper. [FR2098364A1]
