Abstract

A lift/lower sliding e.g. garage door rises to a horizontal position under the ceiling, and swings down through rail guides to close and lock. The door moves under power with a slide (14) moving through a guide rail (5). The door panel is linked to the slide by e.g. a chain terminating in a lever (17) incorporating a guide for a sliding pin following the curved track. When the door closes, the lever engages with a fixed stay (18) and locks. On opening, the pin lifts from the stay and is released.

Claims (12)

1.
