[Also in Division G5] A member 16 (Fig. 2), on the lid 14 of a container 12 is moved automatically to show a different indication 60 each time the lid is moved to uncover a delivery opening 26. In the form shown the lid 14 undergoes a limited rotation to cover and uncover the opening 26. In one direction of rotation a tooth 56 on the disc 16 is driven by a wedge-shaped tooth 44 (Fig. 3) on the lid. In the reverse direction of rotation of the lid the teeth 44 flex and pass beneath the tooth 56 (Fig. 2) whilst the disc 16 is held stationary by the engagement of flexible ratchet teeth 58 on the disc with a flexible pawl 28 on the container. A flange 26 on the container 12 engages a closed groove 34 (Fig. 3), on the lid 14 and the lid is held in a closed position by the closed end 35 of the groove fitting between the flange 26 (Fig. 2) and a lump 27 on the container. The disc 16 is rotatably mounted on the lid by a boss 42 (Fig. 3), which may be surrounded by a flange to prevent slipping and which is engaged by a hole 50 (Fig. 2). surrounded by a flange 16 to keep the two members apart. The lid is made of resilient plastics material and the container preferably of transparent material. The closure may alternatively be made as in Fig. 9 in which the window 40 is replaced by a central boss 78 with a pointer 80.
