985,935. Alignment telescopes. CONTINENTAL ELEKTROINDUSTRIE A. G., [trading as CONTINENTAL ELEKTROINDUSTRIE A. G.ASKANIA-WERKE]. July 3,1961 [July 5, 1960],No. 23989/61. Heading G2J. In the alignment telescope shown an image of the object sighted is formed by objective 15 on a collimeter work 18 (supported on the back surface of the objective) after reflection by a mirror 7. This mirror is held fast on the fixed teles- cope tube 3 within which is slidable for focusing lens 15 (an operation of a screw spinder 9) a tube 8 to which is fixed a frame 13,apertures at 14 to let light from the sighted object into the telescope objective 15. The image and collimating mask are reflected by prism 16 into an eyepiece 17. The objective, eyepiece, and prism are movable transversely of the optic axis by micrometer screws, one of which 21 is shown. It is stated that displacement errors between objective and collimating mark are avoided.
