Abstract

970,005. Two-part couplings. PRESSAC Ltd. May 28, 1963 [July 27, 1962; Oct. 1, 1962], Nos. 29008/62 and 37046/62. Heading H2E. A connecting member 1, for connecting two printed circuit boards 4 and 9, comprises a pair of outer prongs 2, which pass through an opening 3, in the first printed circuit board 4, and are soldered at their free ends to the printed circuit wires 7 at each side of opening 3, and a pair of intermediate prongs 8, in the same plane as the outer prongs 2, and between which can be inserted an edge of the second printed circuit board 9 through an opening in, and in a plane perpendicular to the first board 4 so that one of the pair of intermediate prongs engages a contact strip 11, of the printed circuit board 9. In a modification the two intermediate prongs are replaced by one prong and the second printed circuit board is supported between one of the outer prongs and the central prong.
