Abstract

1,140,293. Electrical connectors. F. WIELAND. 9 May, 1967 [11 June, 1966], No. 21448/67. Heading H2E. A connector for printed circuit boards having differently spaced terminals comprises individual connector elements of a width equal to the minimum terminal spacing and intermediate blank elements of the same and/or half the width of the connector elements. The connector shown in Fig. 1 comprises connector elements a, having a screw-type connector f, Fig. 4, in an insulating body e and a soldering pin g, and intermediate elements b and c. Individual elements are combined in a unit between upper and lower retaining strips (h, Figs. 10, 11, not shown), which engage recesses i in the elements and which are connected together through end elements d. The strip (h) may have a lateral enlargement (m, Fig. 9, not shown) for labelling. The connector elements a may have pin-and-socket type connector units, with or without soldering lugs.
