A structural panel for partitions or wall and ceiling linings comprises a plurality of longitudinally flanged parallel elongated panel elements 1 each attached by at least two securing members 3 to at least two parallel elongated support members 4 which extend at right angles to the panel elements, the securing members 3 being adjustable in position lengthwise of the support members. In the embodiment of Fig. 1 the securing members 3 are of T-shaped cross-section with a stem 10 Fig. 5 providing tongues 11 which resiliently grip within the flanges of the elements 1, the cross of the T being provided with hook portions 13 which engage horizontal flanges presented by a T-sectioned support member 4. A number of alternative embodiments are described which employ support members which may comprise tubes 28, Fig. 12 (not shown) and Fig. 16 or upwardly facing chanels 17 as in Figs. 11 and 13 (not shown) or may comprise perforated angle bars 30, Fig. 14 (not shown) and Fig. 15. Suitable alternative forms of securing member such as 33, Fig. 15 and 26, Fig. 16 are disclosed. A securing member intended for use with an inverted channel support member 45, Fig. 22 comprises parts 54, 56 connected by a screw 53 operable to cause the member to be clamped to lipped edges 47 of the support member 45. Sound absorbing material 7, Fig. 1 provided behind the panel may rest directly on the support members, or may be held by auxiliary means such as clamping tongues 55 and 58 on the securing members shown in Fig. 22. The panels may be supported at one end by a hinge pin 35, Fig. 17 engaging a slot 42 in a support bracket 39 and by a hook 36 engaging a pin 35 on an adjacent bracket, the hook 36 being disengageable so that the panel may be downwardly hinged about the pin 35 and subsequently removed by lifting the pin 35 from the slot 42.
