A domestic juice centrifuge basket comprises a perforate conical screening wall 1, a closure base 3 and a generally imperforate wall 2 together forming an upwardly converging annular chamber 6 closed save for the perforate wall 1 and one or more juice outlets 7a or 7b, so that 'when the basket is rotated, a body of air within chamber 6 rotates therewith. A rasp plate 4 is included.
