960,296. Bottle caps. SEALRIGHT-OSWEGO FALLS CORPORATION. Aug. 20, 1962, No. 31950/62. Heading B8T A ventable bottle cap moulded of thin plastics material comprises a discoidal portion 10, which is provided with a venting aperture 23 and contains an upwardly extending projection 24 near the inner vertical wall 11 of an annular portion, which tightly fits the bead of the bottle 20, and includes an outer wall or skirt 13, which terminates in a re-inforcing ridge 15. A paperboard disc 26 fits on the projection 24, frictionally engages the wall 11, and contains a removal tab 28. Specification 841, 340 is referred to.
