[Also in Division F1] The description in this Specification relates to the pump and motor of the transmission described in Specification 957,321, but the claims are directed to the provision of two grooves in the sliding surface of the port plate of the pump or motor, one groove being in constant communication with the duct adapted to contain relatively high pressure liquid and the other groove being in constant communication with the duct adapted to contain relatively low pressure liquid. Specifications 957,322, 957,323, 957,324 and 957,325 also are referred to.
