In Figs. 1, 2, the belt of an endless conveyer comprises a number of apertured guide members 11a, each extending beyond the belt and having a pair of rollers 15 mounted on its extremity. The guide members pass through the gap between angle-section rails 13, 14, and the rollers engage flanges 13b, 14b of the rails. The remainder of the band is formed of rods 20 and helical links 21, the latter conveniently being welded to or brazed to a corresponding rod. The belt is supported on a table or rollers 10, the table and rails forming an arc for at least part of their length. In a modification, Fig. 3, the guide members 11a extend beyond both edges of the table and carry rollers which engage with two similar tracks.
