Abstract
943,900. I.C. engine combustion chambers. MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURGNURNBERG A.G. April 22, 1960 [April 23, 1959], No. 14148/60. Heading F1B. A combustion chamber throat is formed by at least two bores 7, 8, the axis of the bore 8 being in a plane III-III through the centre of the combustion chamber and the axis of the bore 7 being at an angle to that plane. The fuel is injected in separate jets through the bores 7, 8, to form separate fuel films on the combustion chamber wall. Specification 856,289 is referred to.
