Abstract

940,095. Wrenches. SAVARIN & VEURE FOINANT. Dec. 15, 1961 [Dec. 16, 1960], No. 45104/61. Heading B4W. A pin wrench for use with screws and nuts having diametrically opposed driver depressions, comprises an elongated body providing a hand grip 1 at one end and having an arm 3 projecting laterally from the other end, a first pin 10 projecting from the free end of the arm 3 in a direction towards the end 1 of the body, a movable member including a slider 4 slidable along an intermediate section 2 of the body and an arm 7 projecting from the slider 4 and a pin 11 projecting from the arm 7 towards and in alignment with the pin 10. A projection 9 is provided for adjusting the position of the movable member, as by thumb action. A leaf spring 8 is inserted in the slider portion 4 so as to act between the adjacent surfaces of the body portion 2 and movable arm 7 to take up the clearance therebetween. The pins 10, 11 may be detachably mounted for replacement by pins of a different size.
