Abstract

925,665. Centrifugal separators. LOURDES INSTRUMENT CO. Oct. 22, 1959, No. 35828/59. Class 23. A centrifuge rotor 37 is mounted within a casing 10 having refrigerating means 21 adjacent its wall and a partition 16 between the rotor and the means. The means comprises coils of tubing having fins, and further coils are located below a baffle 23. The partition and the baffle have apertures 20, 24, 26, and are so arranged that the movement of the rotor causes air currents to circulate over the coils. The casing has a cover 19 seating on a gasket 17.
