[Also in Group XVII] Blanks 29, Fig. 9, for forming cardboard cartons are cut from a laminate comprising a sheet 2 of flexible material such as paper, opaline paper, "Cellophane" (Registered Trade Mark), or aluminium, stuck to a sheet 1 of cardboard. The flexible band 2 is printed at 22 coated with gum at 23 and secured at 24 to the cardboard band 1. A rotary cutout tool 26 cuts triangular apertures 4, Fig. 2, in the sheet 1 at positions where the end flaps of the cartons will be formed and the laminated sheet is provided with the necessary longitudinal and transverse creases by rollers 27 for subsequent folding of the blanks into cartons.
