921,567. Hinges. THERMA A.G. Dec. 5, 1961 [Dec. 6, 1960], No. 43412/61. Class 65 (2). An adjustable hinge comprises a hinge member 11 having a section which penetrates into a tubular guide member 7 adapted to be fixed to a part of a cupboard or the like, the hinge member having a front screw 13 to support it vertically relative to the guide member and a rear screw 14 which coacts with an enlarged front portion 1 la of the hinge member to support it horizontally relative to the guide member, the screws being accessible through openings 15a in the guide member. The length of the screws may be the same as the internal width of the guide member, in which case they are held against undesired rotation by spring pins 16, or may be greater than the internal width of the guide member, in which case the latter is made resilient and clamps the screws in their adjusted position. The guide member is provided with studs 8 which, together with screws 10, serve to attach the member to the cupboard.
