Abstract
920,357. Stud and socket fastenings. C. GLASEL, and G. GLASEL, [trading as C. A. WEIDMULLER K.G.]. Jan. 25, 1960 [Jan. 28, 1959], No. 2637/60. Class 44. [Also in Group XXXVI] Terminal blocks 2 which are retained in snapfastener engagement with an asymmetrical supporting rail 1 by spring catches 4 may be positively secured to the rail by a locking pin 6 which is passed either through the catches 4 to prevent their retraction, as shown in Fig. 1, or, through apertures 32 in the blocks 2, Fig. 10, the ends then being anchored to the rail for example by screws 33, which serve as end stop members and which may also serve to attach the rail to a support 24. Fig. 2 shows another construction wherein end angle members 7 clamped to the rail by screws 9 are apertured and slotted to receive the end of pin 6. The upper ends of members 7 may be bent over to support an identity plate. A modified end support 18 is shown in Fig. 7, consisting of a T- shaped member of resilient plastic material apertured at 29 for the passage of pin 6 and having an offset clamping screw 21.
