917,932. Valves. SANBRA Ltd. Feb. 16, 1961 [Feb. 19, 1960], No. 5886/60. Class 135. A tap has a cast body 1 including a cylindrical portion 2 with an integral or attached spout 3 having two separate flow passages 11, 12, the former of which opens into a passage 5 under the control of a manuallyactuated valve 9. The passage 5 which is eccentric in the portion 2 is coupled to a pipe 17 whilst to the lower end of portion 2 is silver soldered a hollow pillar 18 which serves to convey water to the lower spout passage 12 from a pipe 22, which path is permanently open. A pair of bolts 22 are provided for clamping the tap to a horizontal surface. A main hot water supply is connected to pipe 17 whilst the outlet from an auxiliary water heater, having its own control valve, is connected to the other pipe 22.
