Abstract

916,207. Pipe closures. DAMIC CONTROLS Ltd. Sept. 29, 1961 [March 30, 1961], No. 11747/61. Class 99(1). [Also in Group XXIX] A closure cap 5 for a charging valve 3 screws on to the end of the body 1 and carries a separately formed nipple plug in captive floating relationship with the cap, the plug having a part spherical or similar face 7 for engaging.a frusto conical or similar seating 8 in the end of the body and a shank 9 carrying a sleeve 10 with an anchor chain 13 or its equivalent. The chain is secured to the sleeve by an " S " link and the assembly may be made from an aluminium or other light alloy. Specifications 840,559 and 875,431 are referred to.
