Abstract

914,321. Two-part couplings. AMP Inc. Dec. 5, 1960 [Dec. 9, 1959], No. 41853/59. Addition to 877,616. Class 38 (1). A plug as described in the parent Specification is modified in that the diameter of the ring 16 is made equal to that of the nose 18 and the part of the ferrule portion which crimped the insulation of the cable is replaced by inwardly turned serrated fingers 5, integral with the ring portion. The ring may be formed prior to the introduction of the conductor therethrough, as shown in Fig. 5.
