Abstract
A high-temperature alloy contains in percentage by weight:- .Ni.40 -80 .Cr.10 -25 .Nb and/or Ta.0.25- 5 .Mo and/or W.0.5 - 8 .Ti not more than.0.75 .Al.0.25- 3 .Mn not more than.2.0 .Si not more than.2.0 .C not more than.0.2 .Fe.balance Heat treatment consists of heating for times varying from 1/2 to 1 hour per inch thickness of the piece in the range 1600-2100 DEG F. Use of the alloy for turbine parts is referred to.
