Abstract
A castable alloy, suitable for use at high temperatures, has the following percentage composition, by weight: Co 9-11, Cr 9-15, W 6-10, Ti 3.5-5, Al 3-5, C 0.04-0.2, B 0.02-0.2, Zr 0.01-0.2, Ni the balance. The Ni content should be at least 50%. The alloy may also contain: Fe up to 2%; Mn and Si up to 0.5% each; O, N, P and S up to 0.01% each; other impurities up to 3% in total.
