Dough pieces 5 are ejected from a rotary dough divider by plungers 8 assisted by a stripping and discharging roller 15 and the pieces fall into cells 4 of a dough kneading drum of the type described in Specification 870,124 in. which the belt 3 is positioned adjacent the uppermost cell.
