[Also in Group XXX] The uprights 12, 13, Fig. 1, of a collapsible stillage are held in an erected position by pins 21, Fig. 3, mounted on a deck 11, which cooperate with angularly disposed slots 46 in the members 45 to force flanges 22, attached to the deck 11, into engagement with an abutment surface 31. The force of this engagement increases when a load is placed on the deck 11. The flange 22 is latched in the position shown in Fig. 3 by a spring-urged bolt 50, which is moved to an unlatched position by a handle 57, Fig. 6, and held there by a notch 58. As the deck 11 is raised with respect to the legs to enable the stillage to be collapsed, the pins 21 rotate the bolts 50 so that they are released from the notches 58 and are urged into a position in which the flanges 22 will be engaged next time the stillage is erected.
