Abstract

847,036. Pallets for handling loads. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. May 4, 1959 [June 13, 1958], No. 18945/58. Class 78 (4). A pallet has load bearing members 13 detachably mounted on hollow members A in which the forks of a lift truck engage. As shown lugs C on the cross members 13 grip the members A. In a modification the members 13 are cylindrical and have notches gripping the members A. The pallets can be made of welded steel mesh, plastic, or fibre board.
