Abstract

899,893. Ladders. NOBLE, P. A. Nov. 11, 1960 [Nov. 12, 1959], No. 38390/59. Class 20(2) To prevent slip a ladder has pivoted to the bottom a frame comprising two L-shaped members connected by a crosspiece to form a U-shaped member. The arms 6 of this member are mounted on the ladder 2 by links 4, 5 and in operative position the end 9 of each arm 6 abuts the ladder and the link 4 is in line with the arm 6. The frame folds parallel to the ladder.
