Abstract

895,555. Corrugated walls and roofs. SMITH, F. L. April 15, 1959 [April 15, 1958], No. 11942/58. Class 20(4) Corrugated sheet walls and roofs are lined by sheets 9 of asbestos, fibre board &c. forming a cavity therewith, the sheets 9 being secured by channel irons 7 each located in a trough of the corrugated wall or roof between the corrugated sheet 2 and horizontal angle irons 1 carrying the corrugated sheets, each channel iron having a row of pins 8 extending normally thereto to which the sheets 9 may be releasably secured by means of spring clips 11, Fig. 3, nuts &c. The sheets 9 are butt jointed along the rows of pins 8 and the edges of the sheets are covered by a. strip 10 of similar material. Insulating material 12 such as glass fibre or mineral wool may be provided in the cavity.
