A portable spray container comprises upper and lower members 11, 10 screwed together at 12, the lower portion having a non-return ball valve connectable to a source of compressed gas, the upper portion supporting a delivery head 21, traversed by a hand operated valve 25 controlling flow from a dip tube 23 to a nozzle 34 screwed on to the head. The head may be closed by a cap 24 shown screwed on the valve rod 25c.
