Abstract
887,431. Liquid distributers. HANSEN, V. S. July 13, 1960 [July 31, 1959], No. 24424/60. Class 69 (3). A tube, e.g. of plastics material, has a number of liquid outlet members spaced therealong, and the flow channel of each member ranges from 0.1 mm. to 2.5 mm. in diameter and has a length of at least 50 times that diameter. In Fig. 1 each outlet member comprises a thin tube 2, e.g. of plastics material, which is inserted into a hole in the main tube 1; as shown, the holes are arranged in two diametrically opposed generatrices. In Fig. 2, longitudinal channels 6 are formed in the wall of the main tube, and outlet members 7, 7<SP>1</SP>, 711 with channels 8, 9 are located in the tube wall; liquid flows through the channel 8 of one member and through a channel 6 to outlet channel 9 of another member.
