Abstract

775,066. Drop-delivering stoppers. BRUNE, H. Sept. 27, 1955 [Sept. 27, 1954 ; Dec. 30, 1954], No. 27554/55. Class 125(3). A one piece pouring spout for bottles and the like comprises a hollow cylindrical body, Fig. 5, with one or more elastic sealing sleeves 4 and 6, an aperture 10 for the entry of air, and one or more separate apertures 3 for the exit of liquid, the body merging at its upper edge into a surrounding distributor channel 9 and subsequently into a dropping edge 5. The liquid exit apertures 3 and the distributor channel 9 may be connected by an annular space 8, Fig. 1, that is made so narrow that the liquid is drawn into it and distributed therein by capillary action. The annular space 8 may be divided into a plurality of chambers by transverse walls, each chamber having its own liquid exit aperture.
