Abstract

941,332. Spray-producers. S I E M E N S - REINIGER-WERKE A.G. April 6, 1961 [April 9, 1960], No. 12483/61. Heading B2F. A spray nozzle has a tube 16 for the passage of liquid to which is attached a guide element 24, Fig. 4, with an outlet bore 27 and diametrically opposed inclined flat surfaces 30, 31 which co-operate with the frusto-council inner wall of an air tube 14 to provide opposed outlet ducts for atomizing air streams 33, 34 which intersect the liquid stream 35 at a point 36 Alternatively the guide element is in the form shown in Fig. 6 with opposed grooves 40, 41 for the flow of the air streams; any desired number of grooves may be provided. The nozzle forms part of a device having a handle 1 to which a hose 4 is attached having pipes 5, 6 for water and air, and provided with control valves 7, 8 operated independently or jointly by a knurled roller 9.
