Abstract

884,121. Cardboard carriers. ROBINSON Ltd., E. S. & A. May 13, 1958 [May 23, 1957], No. 16452/57. Class 94(1). A cardboard &c. carrier has two convex wall panels 1, 2 and two concave wall panels 3, the panels 1, 2 being connected along a weakened line 13 and the edges of the panels 1, 2 opposite to the line 13 being removably held by closing means. A closing flap 4 having tongues 5 adapted to engage slits 7 in the panel 2 is provided. A handle comprises an extension 8 folded along a crease line 11 and which co-operates with a slit 6, tabs 10 preventing it from slipping through the slit. The article to be packed is placed on the panel 1, tuck-in flaps 12 are folded over, the handle is passed through the slit 6 and the flap 4 is closed.
